Great job!

Way to go on this movie, and as your first actual flash movie, its even more impressive. Everything about this movie deserves some recognition and careful thought. The one downside to starting with such a great movie is that people will be expecting tons from you with any of your future submissions, so be aware of that and keep coming with the effort. I myself am actually expecting very good things from you on your next submission. Here is my review.

The graphics were probably my favourite thing about this flash, for fairly obvious reasons. The drawings were really well done, the lines seemed smooth, and the android was very detailed. There were many effects it seemed as well, such as a shine or the shadows, which i found really added to the whole "slightly eerie" feel. The colours were really well done too, very good job of showing nighttime and i liked the shiny silver of X-19. They were also just plain cool, because of the many techniques you used, this flash seemed very experimental in a good way. The style was great, partly because of the many techniques used created a really cool overall style. But the idea was pretty cool, of creating an android and all that. I guess the plot or story could have used a bit more development even in an experimental flash. I found somethings also could have been a little quicker, like some scenes were a bit slow going. But in the end the whole thing came out amusing anyways. I actually enjoyed the coding stuff on the computer too, i guess you could say it looked as though it actually had to do with the status of the android or something like that. The sound was good, its good to see you actually had some and bothered to put it in. But truthfully it didnt add all that much, because it was only a song or two. There werent many sound effects where there could have been fairly easily, so just be sure to add in some sounds next time!

Overall this was a great movie with just a few noticable flaws in the sound category. The visuals were awesome and same goes for the style, and im sure theyll only improve as you continue submitting movies. So good job for now, i am hoping you can keep up the great work!

Great work, i love the visuals!

Way to go, after seeing this animation i can remember other movies by you such as Backseats Are For Lovers, which i also really enjoyed. It seems you have improved on this "tissue paper art goodness" animation since last time youve submitted a movie. It is certain that i liked this one a tad better, partly because of the added humour, which wasnt too much to make it a comedy, but rather made it a movie with a little extra to make it even better. Everything was done well including the general idea and presentation, so here is my review.

The visuals were probably the most memorable things and best done things in this movie. Clearly the idea of doing a movie using tissue is an original one, and hence an original feeling to the movie is also essential with something like this. I loved the characters, there were only 3 of them but they had truly developped personalities, so it evens out nicely. Even from just their looks you could tell some about their personalities. The sunset didnt quite look like one, but i guess it did kind of fit in with everything else. The animation was really smooth, and im sure it isnt easy to do that using tissue paper! The style of this movie was great, mainly because of the incredibly unique animation style, but as i said before the idea and presentation were good too. Its these things however, that arent too original. The idea hasnt really been done on flash before from what i can remember but i have seen that whole betrayal thing a few times before, with a best friend or relative getting a girl that the main character adored. Either way, the style came out nicely. The sound was great too, the voices were good for the most part, there were only about one or two instances where i noticed the expressions seemed to be a bit off. Good sound effects throughout as well.

Overall this was a great movie with a little extra such as a bit of humour. Everything was definitely above the average, and done very well. I hope you can submit more movies like this in the near future because they are really fun to watch! Anyways great work and please keep up the effort!

Wow! I loved it, way to go guys!

Awesome work on this movie, i really enjoyed pretty much everything about it. And this is because well, everything was actually done well. I was really happy to see you guys teaming up to make a flash together and i figured it would really be a success. Both of you did a great job on your parts of the movie, and both parts seemed to come together pretty well. Personally, theres probably nothing id change to make this better, maybe a little tweak here and there but nothin drastic or very noticable. Theres nothing else really to say here so ,here is my review.

The graphics were very well done, and they could just about not be any more suitable for this movie. I loved basically everything about them, especially how they kind of repeated themselves, like each robot was doing something unique, and doing it over and over until you could not see it anymore. The colours were bright and they added to your animating style positively as it usually does with your animation. The drawings were all pretty good, and i enjoyed the character design even if the designs werent yours. Im sure you remade them pretty accurately! The animation was pretty smooth for the most part as well, the side scrolling throughout was even good, it could be a tad smoother i suppose. The style was amazing in this movie, i mean the combined styles of TmsT and Neil is certainly a winning combination as it proved to be in this case. First the animating style was wonderful, kind of cartoony in a very good way, and i always like your animating style. The idea was cool, for the song and for the style of animation. But the presentation is what really made the idea work in my opinion. I loved the whole side scrolling idea, it was pretty original and actually well done! The sound was awesome too, congrats to Neil for that! The song was very good like your last two, but it wasnt quite as catchy as they were. At the beginning i wasnt so sure if i liked it or not, but it really picked up as the song went on.

Overall this was a fairly funny movie, with good visuals and a very catchy song to go with it all. It was all very well done, and really its nothing less than id expect from the combination of Neil and TmsT, and i hope you guys can continue to make movies as a duo. Way to go, and please keep up the good work!!

TmsT responds:

Might I just point out that I did all the animation independently of any input from Neil, and that all the robots were of my own designing... even though many of them were obviously inspired by actual robots (TransFormers, Daleks, Commander Keen robots). I tried to make this movie as copyright-friendly as possible. I'm glad you still found it enjoyable, despite its lack of blatant pop-culture rip-offs all the way through (like in most of my other movies on Newgrounds).
Indeed there's a lot to look for in those loops... and some of them don't always repeat exactly... ;)

Pretty good! I see why they enjoyed it!

Nicely done man, i had lots of fun while wacthing this, and after watching this it is easy to see why the people you showed in your school enjoyed it. The whole thing was pretty amusing, even if in a particular spot there wasnt any humour. Everything about this was fairly well done at least, and it left nothing out that i wanted to see. You have only made one another flash that you ended up submitting to the site, so after seeing this i say make more and continue submitting your movies here. Anyways here is my review.

The graphics were pretty good throughout the movie. Your characters were pretty memorable, and the actual drawings of them were good too. The detail in everything was very good too, you had enough to make everything work nicely in the movie. The colours while simple, did their job pretty well. And the animation was generally pretty good, however this is probably the one thing id try to improve on when you next submit something. The lipsync was a bit awkward at times, and the animation was a little "rough" perhaps on occasion. The style was great too, you took a simple idea and made it into a movie with some humour and a good length to it. I enjoyed the idea actually, it is pretty creative and the presentation that went along with it helped it out even more. I liked your characters, especially the big bouncer, though im not entirely sure why. The child also made me chuckle once or twice. Maybe you could improve on the last part of this movie, because i didnt fully understand what was going on, or really why it was in the movie. The sound was great too, i enjoyed the voice acting and the sound effects that you had. The sound didnt really amaze me or anything, but it did help out the movie in a positive manner so good work here too.

Overall this was a great movie, worthy of the good score it has, or maybe even better. It is easy to see how anyone can enjoy this, because i myself enjoyed almost everything about it. So great work and please continue submitting stuff to this site. We can never use enough great authors!

That was sick!

Awesome work guys, that just has to be better than the previous one. Everything about this one was better, and thats actually quite difficult to do considering how good the last one was too, plus this is basically naturally better just because its the sequel to a great collab. Excellent collaborations arent coming around as much as they did not too long ago, and its always nice to see in a time where there arent too many good collabs, one that stands out above the rest. Everything stood out really, nothing about this was bad at all, here is my review.

The graphics deserve nothing short of a perfect 10. They were so cool overall and just everything to do with them was done very well. The drawings to start off were nicely varied with each different author, i loved seeing all the unique animating styles. The detail was always very good, even if they were simple stick characters you guys managed to have some good detail in other things such as backgrounds or environments. The colours were always pretty good too, they usually complemented the characters and some objects well. The animation is where all of you earned tons of points, in each clip it was incredibly smooth, and the movements were extremely detailed. They were all visually stunning, but i think the best ones visually were Silent Killah, Jazza, and Toughluck. The style was also brilliant. I could not be more impressed with the outcome of this collab because absolutely everything looked so good including the menu, and everything came together so nicely, the whole style to it is beyond cool by collab, or any movie's standards. The multiple animating styles are essential in a collab, and this had a lot of them, each animation from an author had a totally different style in fact. The idea of making a collab based around killing doesnt sound too original but you wont find many like that anywhere you look! The presentation was spectacular, nearly no flaws here what so ever. All clips were superb, but there always has to be a best and here they were Samus, Psyche, and Toughluck. The sound was awesome for the most part. The song by itself was quite good, but early on in the collab it seemed out of place by being a bit too quick paced for some parts of some clips. But at other times, like in the last scene, it fit the collab just perfectly. The added sound effects, like gunshots, some voices, added a lot to the collab, on many all youd find is one song for the sound. There was a bit of humour in this during Samus clip!

Overall this was an awesome movie that i can see earning a solid top 50 spot and holding it for quite some time. I wouldnt be surprised to see another Massacre collab after this ones success. This is going into my favourites, for all the reasons i have said in my review. I hope you guys can keep with this collab series, and also submit some of your own full length movies when you have the time. Anyways fantastic job!
