Great job, the song was well used.

I must say i did enjoy this, especially the first time i had listened and watched it. I was impressed by the very catchy beat that had been used in this movie too. Sadly when i read the updates in the author's comments when i went to watch it again, it said you werent the audio artist. Despite that, i could still enjoy the movie, and enjoy the audio. Each aspect was fairly good overall, although they all also had their ups and downs. I mean just the fact that you made a cool music video to this song, is good enough for me. Here is my review.

The graphics were good for sure, i wouldnt say they could be considered much more than that. You seem to have all the basics down very well, but you didnt have much in terms of special effects or bursts of really great animation. Stick figure movies have to be animated extremely smoothly because the characters are so simple, and i can say the animation was good hear, but wouldnt reach "great". In a CS movie, i would just love to see fully developped characters. The detail in the characters was not all that good, but the guns definitely made up for it, as they had a lot of little details on them. The one cool thing for the visuals is the scroll effect you used, i guess you could call it. For example where the grenades were thrown, and then the view went around the corner to see them explode. For most of this, the animation clips were repeated too often. The style of this movie was great, there wasnt all that much in terms of animating style. The idea was obviously really cool, here im commending both the audio artist and you for actually putting animation with this. It is clearly pretty original, a compilation of CS sounds turned into a song, with some good animation to back it up. The sound was evidently awesome, congrats to the audio artist on this one. The song was very catchy, the beat was creative, not to mention it was all done with CS sounds. I guess it did grow repetitive by the end, however. But the other intense or just flat out cool parts partially made up for the middle of the song. There was even some humour in this, a lot of this has to do with the loading screen and the funny quotes.

To summarize my review, this was a great movie, and a cool idea. Its a bit of a shame you werent the one who created the audio, i probably would have been able to enjoy it even more if it was all totally your work. So congrats to you and the audio artist on making something really worth watching. Great work guys!

What a... verbose review lol

At any rate, what you say is true, and i suppose I don't have to tell you that motion smoothness and character design sit sort of on a seesaw, that is, one can create a counter-strike animation with sticks and have it be smooth, or one can create a counter-strike animation with full characters but have it be choppy, and it's difficult to create both.

Thanks for acknowledging the audio artist for what he is. In all seriousness, he is more rightfully the main artist than I. Animation takes longer to make than audio, but of course, I spammed the heck out of loops to make ends meet lol. Then again, his song would never have been such a huge hit if it weren't for this submission.

At any rate, I'm glad you liked it. 4/5 is a perfectly fair score.

Good collab, not certainly not the best.

Great job to everyone who participated in this collab. I have really liked this 5 Shades series since the very first one. They havent so much improved from the beginning, but there have been i think 2 really good ones inbetween. My favourite so far was certainly the 5 Shades of Brown, it was just extremely impressive especially with its visuals and the theme. Sadly for this one i didnt quite feel the same way throughout the whole thing. Some clips seemed to be lacking a little effort, im thinking this because of the short length of some of them. Anyways here is my review.

The graphics were great overall, obviously some clips had noticably better visuals than others. In general the drawings were well done, pretty well detailed and some of them looked quite interesting. The character design was often fairly intruging as well, some characters such as in mynamewontfitin's clip made me think. The animation was smooth throughout, i cant really complain about anything here. I rather like the selection for colour here, and each shade of colour was used pretty well, especially in the main menu. The best and worst clips for visuals in this collaboration were -orb- and Jarvid respectively. The style is usually the strongest aspect of each collab in this series and in this case there arent any exceptions. I just enjoyed the colour selection, but the theme that went along with it would not have been my first choice. Purple usually means mystery or crime to me and that would have just been a cool theme, even though future was still a solid choice. The effort in this collab didnt seem quite as strong or noticable as in the other ones, i dont know if there actually was less effort here but thats what the final product made me think. One thing done extremely well in this collab is the fact that you guys all followed the theme just about perfectly, some we more direct in the way they showed it while others had a bit of a message to them. The best clip for style was MephistonX's while the worst in my opinion was Greedom's for lack of length and general idea. Another little thing, the end of Jarvid's clip played over and over. The sound was great throughout too, nothing really amazed me all that much. But the host of sound effects and music came out pretty well. And the voice acting was good, i dont have any complaints here really. The best clip for this aspect was DNR and the worst would probably have to be Jarvid's.

Overall this was a great collaboration, and a great continuation of this 5 Shades series. Although this wasnt necessarily the best one to date it was still definitely in the top half of collabs on the site. Everyone did their job nicely and everyone should be satisfied with their work overall. Way to go guys, cant wait for the next one!

The Funniest Flash Since Crab Battle!!

Wow, that was nearly too funny for words! I couldnt help but laugh almost the entire way through, seriously! I dont know what it is with Metal Gear Parodies but i usually find them hilarious. I guess its the fact that there is so much to make fun of in the game, i know this by just the parodies i have seen on this site, i have never played the game before. This one stood out from the other Metal Gear parodies i can remember, i rather liked the fast paced presentation of it, and the ridiculous yet funny dialogue and graphics. I dont have any big critiques for this either so here is my review.

The graphics were great overall. These visuals were certainly different than any others that ive seen. The drawings of each character were simple, though effectively so. The characters still managed the be pretty accurate to what they should look like based on the other metal gear parodies. The animation was sufficient in showing all the movements without the viewer getting confused. Often the simplicity of the visuals added a tons to the humour. And thats where the facial expressions come in, i could not have loved them more! I loved all the angry faces, and others like when Snake said some one had a heart attack. The style was awesome too, in this case the animating style was awesome despite being fairly simple. As i said earlier i love the fast paced presentation, that is one of the keys for humour in my opinion. Everything is rushed, but its just hilarious the way all the jokes are told. Metal Gear Parodies are evidently not too uncommon at all, but i can never get enough of them, they are usually making fun of generally the same things, but still remain funny and original. This one had a little bit of extra humour and originality. The sound was awesome too, the quick sound effects seemed to fit in perfectly with the rest of the fast paced humour. The voice acting was excellent too, one of the best Snake voices i can remember!

Overall this was an awesome movie, i loved just about everything about it. I wish hilarious movies would come into the portal more often, not just funny ones. I would like to see more from you without a doubt. Perhaps a Zelda, Halo or a Prince of Persia movie similar to this could turn out funny if done properly, those are just a few suggestions. This is going into my favourite submissions, i just need to see more!

Great!

This was very well done. It was very different from all those flash based around killing, it was one of them but it definitely had some major differences in the way it was made and the actual content. I can tell the story will become great as the series progresses further, although in this first installment nothing made complete sense yet. It is a prelude afterall, meant for introducing the series that follows along with its characters. Well this was very amusing, well done in every aspect, and a great start to a new series. Theres nothing else i can say here so here is my review.

The graphics were awesome throughout this movie, except during the first few seconds where we had sort of the above view of the girl walking. I just found the animation looked a bit awkward and honestly i was a bit worried how the rest of it would turn out, but it quickly got much better. The drawings were pretty good actually, while the detail could slightly be improved you had whatever was necessary to make the proportions seem really good. The colours were all good, they usually made the characters seem slightly more realistic in a way. The animation during the fight scene was awesome, all the movements were smooth and very easy to make out. The style was awesome as well. The animating style was a small factor here, it did contribute slightly but positively. What really impressed me here was the fact that you took the idea of a flash based around killing, and made it original with your cool new characters, setting, but most importantly the story/presentation. Your character development was great, and in such a short time makes it even better. All the characters really got me interested in to what may happen if or when there are future episodes. The setting added to the mood in a way, it seemed very alone and desolate. I really did get the feeling that no one would help her, but then the movie continued and i saw she was a crazy fighter. The story/presentation was incredible in this movie. I was extremely surprised to see her fight the way she did. I have never seen a hero in a flash movie toy with their enemy before unleashing their anger upon them. I found that really interesting, along with the actual moves she used during the fight. The sound was great, little flaws here and there brought it down slightly, however. The sound at the start wasnt great to be honest, the sound effects came together to seem choppy. But just like the graphics the sound generally picked up as the movie went on. The voice acting was usually pretty good, except the expressions were a little overexaggerated in a couple of lines.

Overall this was a very good movie, with tons of strong aspects and things that can appeal to basically anybody who loves action, or humour along with violence. I hope if you do make any more episodes after this, that they will be slightly better than the previous and they just keep going that way until the series' end. Please keep up the good work!

Awesome, another great music video!

That was just great, an instant classic in my opinion. I really think you guys as a combination are amazing, even if the song wasnt made to be animated necessarily. I just searched through the 50 most recent submissions in the portal, and saw something else by TmsT. I was excited, watched it right away and i just loved it, even more than your previous music video, When Robots Attack. There isnt really much id try to improve that i saw here, a few minor ajustments here and there but nothing big. And i have yet to hear a non-catchy, funny song by Lemon Demon. Here is my review.

The graphics were very impressive, absolutely nothing less than id expect from a TmsT animation. Your drawings were great of course, the characters were memorable and you did a wonderful job of really making them seem like huge geekz, by using simple things such as the glasses, the braces and of course their clothes. I found all the other characters were really well done too. I found it fairly cool the way you drew the "jelous" people i guess you could call them. All the colours were smooth, this is something i can really recognize your animating style by. I love the animation too, its always kind of funny in a good way, it always adds positively to the movie. The style was near flawless, and good enough for a 10. The animating style was just one of the many things that really contributed here. Of course the idea was awesome, again even if the song wasnt made to be animated. The presentation always ran smoothly, throughout the movie you seemed to know what was going to happen in the next scene. This is usually fairly difficult in a music video, at least from what ive seen. The animation always really seemed to fit with the song even if what was going on didnt exactly match the lyrics. The sound was awesome too, obviously. As i said i have yet to hear a song that i dont like and isnt catchy from Neil. I also really liked this song in other words, however not quite your best.

Overall this was another awesome submission by you two as a combination. I seriously hope to see more. Maybe you guys could make a song just to be animated. Id love to see how that turns out in the end. Anyways congrats on another awesome submission, i cant get enough!

This new series is already looking awesome!

Very very cool submission, and as i said, the series is already looking quitepenor promising. It almost seems like since you guys changed your name to Quimera, you have been making more diverse things (from crows to this), and in my opinion they have generally been better than what i remember before your name change. Everything in this seems to be done very well, way above the average without a doubt. And you also have some extra elements such as an intruiging storyline, and the fact that it is totally original from what ive seen. I wouldnt be surprised if this movie along earned you many more fans. Here is my review.

The visuals were very impressive other than one thing that occured a little bit throughout the movie. Dante's face seemed to be twicthing sort of as he talked, i dont know if this was intentional however to more suit the dream setting. Other than that everything was awesome, the drawings were fantastic. From the character drawings to the backgrounds, every little thing seemed to be quite detailed, and very well coloured. I love the setting youve created too, with all the bright colours for the bushes and trees, and odd looking plants and objects. The animation was pretty good too, it was very smooth on occasions, despite sometimes appearing slightly awkward. The style of this movie was awesome overall for more reasons than the cool animating style you used. The setting you created gave a mystic feel to the whole movie, and i havent seen this done in flash before at all. Other than that everything else was actually pretty original, from the storyline to the presentation. I really look forward to seeing how the storyline developps in the 4 future episodes. The presentation did as it should in a first episode, and that is to introduce the viewers to the characters, setting, and a little bit of the plot. There wasnt anything wrong specifically with the style. The sound was awesome as well, the voice acting was really good. Very cool and realistic expressions throughout. The music was a near perfect choice for this movie, it sort of fit the mood, as well as adding to it positively. Great sound effects also helped out here.

Overall this is a wonderful start to a new series. Im seriously looking forward to all the upcoming episodes, as well as any other movies coming from you. As of now you are in my favourite authors. I just hope the others can be as good as this first episode!

Ha, pretty awesome!

This was just awesome all the way around, except one major thing and without actually saying it im sure you can guess what it is. It is obviously the length, i just wish it was longer, a longer movie with that type of style, some great sounds, and most importantly all the visuals this had, would just be fantastic. That was the only thing i was dissapointed with in this movie. The length didnt change the fact that it was fun, amusing and just really well done. I would certainly like to see a full length movie with all these things done so well, and maybe a short series using the characters from this movie. Well heres my review.

The graphics were incredible to sum them up very quickly. They are without a doubt some of the best visuals i have seen in the past month, no exagerations. Off the top of my head i can only thing of maybe one submission that came close or did top your visuals in this movie. The character design was fantastic, of course the proportions werent real, but it is obvious what your goal was. The detail wasnt all that noticable, only on the building in the background in numerous scenes. But what really made your graphics amazing was the combination of the smooth lines outlining everything you drew, the great colouring that filled almost everything in, and i definitely cant forget the actual animation which was extremely good. Everything to do with the visuals came together very nicely in the end. The style was awesome, though it may have been the weakest aspect in this flash, not including violence, humour and interactivity. This is because of the length, which limited too much of anything to really happen. But the general idea itself is pretty fun. The name "Sniper Jeans" seems to be one that came from off the top of your head, this sort of added to the humour in a way. The presentation was solid, it wasnt difficult to understand what so ever even with the bullet zooming around everywhere. The actual animating style was awesome too, im alos completely positive i could tell this style apart very easily from any other style i have ever seen. The sound was awesome too, in such a short movie im surprised to hear you actually used so many sound effects effectively. All the sounds like the cars, and the sniper shot were pretty cool and sounded fairly realistic.

Overall this was an awesome movie, however, it is very short and that can dissapoint many more people than just me. So the only advice i have for you and your future submissions is to increase its running time by at least another 40 seconds. This could also significantly increase your score, if thats important to you. Anyways keep up the effort!

LOL that was ridiculous!!

Awesome work, this must be the best movie featuring Blockhead i have seen thus far. Many more things were better compared to the original series, including the animation, humour, plot and even Blockhead himself in a certain way. This new series already looks as though it can really out do the previous series with Blockhead, i just hope you can keep them coming so strongly. This is also one of the better movies i have seen in the past while, so congrats on that as well because i really have seen quite a few really good ones. Here is my review.

The graphics were awesome, and overall they were certainly better than before, or at least from what i can remember. Every little thing about graphics did have a little bit of improvement from what i noticed, your overall effort must have increased in order for all these improvements to happen. To start, the actual drawings were better than before, not so much the character drawings but the backgrounds and environments for sure, mainly because of the detail and extra stuff. The animation showed a whole lot of improvement, in this movie there were i guess you could say 2 different kinds. The regular animation im use to you doing, which seemed even smoother than before, and then there was kind of a goofy type of animation that fit just perfectly with the movie and Blockhead as a character. The style was awesome too, there werent many changes but you certainly added to what made the Blockhead series a fantastic one. The whole idea of randomness/no real plot is one that i really love in some situations such as this. You added the no real plot idea, while you did have one it was still sort of ridiculous in a good way. The presentation turned out really well for more reasons than just the length. I actually found this first episode of Time Squad hilarious! The sound was awesome too, this aspect probably showed the least amount of improvement, but it was good nonetheless. All the voice acting had wonderful and often funny expressions, i didnt notice any lapses in the acting this time around. All the sound effects were really cool and i also enjoyed the theme song again even if it was a bit different.

Overall this was another hilarious movie starring Blockhead, in my opinion one of the best new characters on the site. One thing is for sure, he is better than stick characters even with that comically simple face of his. I really like your movies man, with a few more this good you will definitely be in my favourite authors. Keep it up!
-Two Thumbs way Up! 5/5

Pretty amusing and unexpected.

Really nice job on this movie, the elements were all fairly strong, but absolutely shows room of even more possible improvement, explaining this is not very easy. The final product of all the elements coming together was very good, there was basically one thing in particular that brought it down a few points in which i will talk about later on. It is good to see a fight with lots of originality and with an actual story revolving around it. This i wasnt expecting because of the start of the movie, anyways here is my review.

The graphics were really great at some points, however at others they seemed almost experimental in a way. Firstly i havnt seen an animating style like that before, but it did always seemed refined, like the look to the tunnel itself, it didnt quite always fit in. Sometimes things were too simple to have any appeal too, such as the fish or backgrounds on occasion, the character looked really good, the detail in the stuff he was wearing was pretty good. I noticed your use of blur effects in the backgrounds, sometimes they werent quite used correctly and not quite in the right situations, but often they looked really good and accentuated everything you did right. The style was also pretty good, in fact it was probably my favourite thing about this movie for a few reasons. The fact that it was a fight scene, or at least the bulk of it was, would not be very appealing to me if that was all it was. But you added a good story behind the fight and you actually showed how it started in the first place, it also seemed a little more realistic:how the hero just didnt win right off the bat. The animating style was solid for the most part as well. The sound did have some lapses here and there, like sound effects seeming out of place by being stopped a little early. But the sound effects were great other than those times, the music choice was very good. But the voice acting was the big thing in this aspect. It was all very good, as im sure youve been told a few times before in the previous reviews, in particular the main character's voice. Near perfect expressions in his acting for sure.

Overall this was a great movie thanks to a well animated fight scene with a real reason for it happening in the movie. This has got me pretty impressed for sure, im excited to see how the future episodes turn out as well, dont keep us waiting too long!
