Not as great as the second one.

In my opinion Awesome Compilation Vol 2 was the best one so far for a number of reasons. Firstly it seemed a little bit longer than the other two and the two easter eggs in volume two were absolutely hilarious. This one was funny but not as laugh out loud funny as Id hoped. The animation seemed to be a little less "awesome" but that isnt a bad thing because the characters still looked funny. The best clip in my opinion was the Shadow of the Colossus one.

Overall it was awesome of course and just keep it up!

Another eerie salad fingers cartoon.

It remains impressive, entertaing and often humorous how weird this series is. Of course that is was people love about it. Salad Fingers has become one of the best series on the site and for good reason. This time around it almost seemed a little more supernatural in a way. At the start we saw a more "normal" side of him (if you can call representing his long fingers as people have a creepy conversation)

Overall it was another great addition to the series. Keep it up!

Nice man.

As far as Halo themed submissions go, this one was one of the few good ones. It wasn't necessarily the best either, partly due to the visuals and partly due to the generic humour. Knocking out Link was funny, but anything else humour-related was just okay in my opinion. The visuals are good, but I think they definitely could have better (such as the Chief's armor).

This was a good movie, with some things I would have liked to see added in. Nice job anyways!

Nice! Very clever use of windows and your desktop.

This was a great movie, and is definitely well deserving of its Top 50 spot. These 2 movies you have created are extremely unique and that alone is part of what made them so entertaining. The graphics were great, I loved the use of the flash windows and desktop items in trying to kill the stick man. There was a lot of great humour in this as well, such as with the messenger window and the conversation between you and the programmer.

Overall this was a funny, entertaining and really creative movie. I really want to see more!

Stunning.

As I am sure anyone who has watched this has noticed, the visuals were some of the best I have ever seen. The backgrounds made by Zombie-Pimp as well as the people in the distance, were just as impressive.

The one thing that set the graphics in this movie apart is how nothing was missing and every aspect of the visuals were touched upon with a lot of effort. The effort put into everything, but especially the visuals clearly showed in the final product. The characters looked awesome, the animation beautiful and the backgrounds helped create the illusion of a real city. The sound is another memorable thing about this movie. The music was not only good by itself, but it really suit this along with creating the atmosphere I'm sure you were trying to make.

Overall this was an impressive submission on all levels. I hope this is just one of many you plan on submitting in the future!

Hilarious, funnier than the first!

This second volume of the Awesome Compilation was in my opinion even funnier than the first one. The 3 clips that actually made up this compilation were funnier than the last 3 and even the easter eggs were better than the last one.

Obviously this compilation still had the same "Awesome" style that we all love. Even up until now this style is comical and very original. The voice acting was very good too, you seem to be able to put on many different voices. The commentary during the main menu screen was funny too, and it was just cool how you put something like that in your main menu.

Anyways this was just hilarious and entertaining. Nice job and im looking forward to September 19th!

Fantastic animation!

This was one of the best ClockDay submissions this year and it deserves both the front page spot and the great score, if not better. This movie was touching as well, who knew StrawberryClock could be so kind :P?

My favourite part about this submission was definitely the animation itself. It was very smooth and didnt skip a single beat in the movements. That is to say the movements were very detailed, and seemed to be all there rather than missing parts or being generally choppy. Another thing I liked about it is the effort because while ClockDay does boil down to spamming the portal and receiving free protection points, it is like a breath of fresh air when you see a genuinely good submission. It was interesting how you portrayed the king of the portal himself, StrawberryClock; as a friendly character rather than a crazy talking fruit who swears a lot (no offense King:P).

Basically, this was a unique and touching flash and I really enjoyed it. Way to go on making one of the best ClockDay submissions this year!

Creative! Cool to see how it all started!

This submission was great for a number of reasons, one being that it is one of the few great submissions today. I may have seen about 6 that I consider to be good and this is definitely one of them.

To start, I think the idea is very original and as far as I know this is the first movie which demonstrates how the Clocks, (not just the ClockCrew themselves) as a race started. Basically the idea has some seriousness to it, with some traditional Clock humour thrown in. The visuals were very nice, especially the setting sun because the colours looked almost as good as one can look in flash. The birds flying against the sunset and the sky was a very nice touch. The character design was good, but i think the movie could have done with some different looking characters as well. The song choice was only good in the name of humour :P.

Overall this was a nice story of how the race of clocks started, and how appropriate to submit on the Crew's birthday. Happy Clock Day!

ddd

It was decent, and a little dull.

The whole collab was just okay in my opinion. No one part was extremely bad, and no one part was extremely good either, but they were on average in between the two. That being said, this was worth watching and it did seem to have some effort.

The graphics were decent overall, with some that could be better. Sometimes they just didnt have enough to them to be totally satisfying. The song choice was good, and you guys almost managed to work with the song to create an eerie-type of mood. This song has been used in a similar submission as i'm sure you know, but you guys still made it your own by using various clocks instead of one person. The effort definitely seemed to be there so I commend you for that.

Overall this was a good submission. One problem is that to call it collaboration, usually many artists are involved not only a few. With more artists in a collab, you will see more animating styles and various unique opinions on the lyrics. Good job though and Happy Clock Day!

Anchor-Clock responds:

Thanks for the review.

Funny, too bad for the abrupt ending.

The movie and the storyline were pretty good, and its a shame you weren't able to finish the whole movie for this year's Clockday. Whatever there was of this movie, it was well done.

The graphics were good, I found the evil character looked very cool. The use of black and red on him made him look truly evil. The evil dude's true form looked even cooler than he did at first. The sound was just as good and as odd as in any Clock submission, though you did have some screams and yells that were hilarious coming from clocks.

Overall this was a great submission for ClockDay, and again its a shame that you could not finish on time. Well if you do submit the sequel next time this special day comes around ill be looking forward to it! Happy Clock Day!

Ivanovitch responds:

I actually signed up to the Clock Crew as "DemonHeartClock".
I just had to make fun of it someday or the name would haunt me forever.

Thanks for the thoughtful review!

I havent been on NG in so long, this redesign might bring me back!
