Ooh nice i liked it!

This was a great game, all the elements you would want in a game like this were there, and they often went above my expectations. Theres not much else i cant say here other than it was very well done, and it ran smoothly throughout. Here is my review.

The graphics were great, i was much more than satisfied when i saw them at first. I noticed the colourful numbers when the items were collected and also the detailed futuristic looking backrounds. Its always nice to see effort in every aspect, especially graphics, because in a game like this, graphics arent everything. Great job for graphics. The style is what impressed me the most about this game and for a couple reasons. Perfect type of animation for a game like this. The idea is cool, though you control a ball it is extremely original. Collect and/or destroy everything possible in the area using a ball able the charge up power. See, that has never been done well before. I was very pleased with the sound, i loved all the clear, magical sound effects of when you collected an item or even more so a bunch of items at once.

Overall this was indeed a great game and i hope my review explained why. I cant wait for another one of your games, it is almost sure to be good! 4/5

Thanks a lot!

A nice improvement.

I liked the last one and im glad you submitted a 2nd version, because i liked this one more. Its just cool being able to mess around on a piano, its simple but fun. I liked all the new stuff you added into this one.

The graphics, well what can i say. Nothing special to them, but you made sure the piano and the backround doesnt look like crap. The style of this game was very nice, its pretty original , fun to play and overall just a good game. I liked how there are more instruments, just makes it a bit more amusing. Also the new songs was a useful addition. The sound was good, all 5 instruments sounded good, and the songs did too.

Overall a good game, i had fun and thats important, i hoope a 3.0 can come out soon! 4/5

Good, could have been more amusing.

Good game indeed, you can always expect that from games of gondor. Theres nothing really that you can hate about this, but for me theres nothing really you can like too much either. Still overall i found it good, but in need of some improvements. Here is my review.

The graphics were great and more than anything else in this game, i enjoyed these. The design of each "enemy" or what ever you want to call them was good. A lot of them were very pleasant to look at. Others were simply good. The computers looked good, i liked the gold one! Solid visuals overall. The style of this game was good indeed, but i have a few issues with it. First we dont need another "defend your castle" type of game. I personally have gotten fairly tired of those. You need some different weapons, i didnt enjoy the laser the whole way through. Still the idea was nice, but it could have been presented in a more complex way. The sound was good, mostly because of the music, it was great and chosen well. It seems you cant go wrong with ParagonX9. The sounds were good, but a few more would prove helpful.

Overall this was a good game, but i felt it could be done better. I see the reasons why people would love this game, if they are still fans of these types of games. Anyways Games of gondor doesnt dissapoint, keep it up!!

Great Job!!

This was a great game man! And since it had an awesome score i expected this to be made by Games of Gondor. Still this had some problems, that im sure many people overlooked because of other great elements. Well ill try to explain everything in my review.

The graphics were easily the most impressive things about this game, more so than any other element in my opinion. They were brilliant and stunning, especially to have in a space shooter. The design of the ship was incredible, very detailed, and same goes for the enemies and backrounds. The cut scenes had nice graphics and animation too, they could be better however. The style was great, but there were some big things in my opinion that set it back a bit. First the difficulty was too much for me, when i play a net game like this i dont want it to be so hard where i have to spend all day beating it. Perhaps make difficulty settings in the future. And also i dont think i really wanted to play another space shooter, but some people love them. The sound was good, for what there was. But there should have definiterly been more.

Overall this was a great game, i had fun. But still i felt it could have been better if it was done different. Great nonetheless and keep making games in the future!!! 4/5

While some things could have been improved.....

....the final product was quite good. Some elements seem to have been done fairly quickly, while others such as gameplay had more thought put into them. The important thing is this game grew to be fun, so heres my review.

The graphics were good, they did the job, but they could definitely be better than this. The drawings were good, i mean of the enemies, i know if you put too much detail into them, the game would lag. The one level there is could be more detailed though, ater a while the one setting grew a little dull. The graphics were simply good overall. The style again was only good. In these games its tough to have an animating style. What i did like is the addicting element to it, i found myself playing this longer that i thought i would. I didnt like however, how it was just another defend your house kind of thing where you are one guy on his roof killing zombies. I have played games just like this before, try to make it have its own original twist in the future. The sound was good aswell, the sound effects were good, but they were really nothing special. Perhaps add music in, or the option to have music.

Overall this was a very fun game nonetheless, i wish you could have made it original, like maybe even defending your carrot patch against rabbits! Anyways keep up the good work. 4/5

Wow, awesome fun!

This was really a great game. You did a great job of making it fun and addicting for a while. I played the main game once or twice and the Newgrounds mode a few times. I got all 60 correct, and then got a 50 point bonus but my score never went to high scores.
:( well a great game anyways, heres my review.

The graphics were great throughout. While there wasnt many "drawings" for characters they were good. All the menus and buttons looked smooth and packed with effort. I love the shiny effect you gave to them. When there was animation, it flowed smoothly. The style of this game was perfect. I mean this is the best, and most addicting trivia game on NG. All the modes, and different questions just kept it entertaining. My favourite was obviously the NG mode, i found that one was put together very well. The sound was great and did its job. Every piece of sound whether it be music, or simply sound effects, all was effectively used to give the game a better feeling. There was even some humour in this!

Overall a great trivia game, and i never though i would so much about anything in one game here on NG, anyways keep up the great work! 4/5

This is a great review! Thanks a great lot! I'm really glad you appreciate it, and I'll fix the NG mode scores for you!

haha really cool!

This was a definite improvment over the Cursors of the Future one, because in these it was both cursors and desktops, or so they appeared to be. Not only that but everything else seemed to be improved upon.

The graphics while in this case are hard to give a score on, were great in my opinion. The backrounds all looked cool even when they were simple. The little cursor things were cool too, i mean the things that followed the cursor. The animation was all smooth, no complaints from me for graphics, The style is perfect. This kind of thing has never been done before here on NG, other than Cursors of the future. But its just so cool to mess around with, a true time waster. The sound was great too, i was getting a little worried at the start because there were little sounds, but that changed pretty quickly.

Overall this was awesome, so much fun to mess around with the snake. I hope you can make more games like this one in the near future! 4/5

A solid game!

This was a fun game, it did have its problems here and there however. But the most important thing about a game is whether it is amusing or not, and this was definitely amusing. Well heres my final review of the night.

The graphics were good, i mean they did the job but even on high quality they seemed a bit rough. Maybe its just my computer but thats what happened. I was most impressed with the environments, they were well drawn and fairly detailed. the style of this game is good, its always fun to play a game that seems like it has more than one game in it. There are so many different gaming elements in this, it feels as though im playing different games constantly. For example, timing jumps sliding down the hill with the rock, then fighting against the enemies. The sound was good, but perhaps it sounded a little "glitchy" at times. It could be smoothe in other words.

Overall this was a pretty good game, it ran fine on my computer, especially the double jump, the other computers probably arent very good. So trey to make the game playable for more PCs! 4/5

The-Mercenary responds:

I actually did try to make it playable for more pc's, the message at the begging says if its too slow switch to low detail from the pause menu. It doesnt improve performance too much, but it can help out a little.

Very fun!

This was surprisingly fun. I just went on the front page looking for something new and i found this. I was like the score isnt too high, but ill play it for the hell of it. And now im glad i did, it was really fun!

The graphics were good, they just barely did more than what they had to, in order to make them work with the game. Everything about graphics was really just good, nothing more nothing less. Theres nothing i can really go into detail about. The style of the game is great, this isnt just some typical shooter, it had some things happening that made it pretty original, such as the idea of falling off a building and the wide variety of different weapons, each needing a different shooting technique. Creative idea and well presented. The sound was good too, though there were some moments where the sound seemed to cut off. The sound effects were all great however. There was a good amount of violence, plenty of interactivity and even some humour.

Overall this was a great game in my opinion. There are a few small things that you can definitely improve on, but they will come with time. Keep it up! 4/5

even better.

When i played the first two versions i liked BOA: II better. And even with the improvements i still think the same way.

The graphics are better in this one than the first without a doubt, though they still have a few problems. Slightly choppy at some points and also the detail and blood could be better. The style is great, and even better with the improvements you made. The game is fun, and that alone makes me give high style points. The idea is cool and this one even had a storyline during gameplay. The sound is good despite some lack of quality in some sounds. They are very cool in general though. Awesome violence and a good use of interactivity.

Overall i really enjoyed this, thanks for making the improvements, its almost like another entire game all over. Keep up the great work! 4/5

I havent been on NG in so long, this redesign might bring me back!
