The best game since Dad N' Me or even before!

I loved this game. I could leave it at that but wow that just wouldnt be fair for such an awesome game! To tell the truth i was dissapointed at very first to see that it wasnt a movie, because based on the picture it looked like a movie with smooth animation. But it was a game, and i think it turned out for the best, as this is my favourite game on NG for the time being. It had everything youd want in a game of this type; simple, addicting, works the brain! The thing i loved most about it was the fact that it really challenged you to think quickly. Well heres my review.

The graphics were just great. They were not dissapointing in any way what so ever. As i said i was expecting smooth animation, and im glad i actually got it! The main character marvin, was nicely animated and so were all his moves. He was simple but it fit in with everything else. All the extra hats were a very cool addition, and they too were pretty nicely animated. The backrounds were awesome, they also had smooth animation. And the scientists in the backround were actually moving! The best thing about the graphics , however, was the fact that they were welcoming, this is something you dont see much, i would not have played the game at all admittedly, if it wasnt for the picutre with the small show of visuals. The style was the most impressive thing about this game without a doubt and for many reasons. Your animating style was nice as i partially already mentioned. But this almost barley played a role in getting a 10 for style as it was almost there without it. I mean it was soo intense the first couple times playing it. That got me loving it right away. Usually simple games like this are addicting and they do not challenge your mind to think quickly. This one was addicting AND it challenged you to think very quickly. The idea was fantastic and executed almost perfectly! This was just a blast to play! The sound was awesome, it was only the song but it was more than sufficient. The sond was great by itself but even better within the game. It was perfect for it, even if it was the original music from the old game.

Overall this game deserves a 10 based on how much i liked and enjoyed it. It was very fun, and superbly done. This game is in my favourites now, and im sure it will be until i stop visiting newgrounds. I hope you can make more games this good very soon!

[Train Robber!]

A nice little game.

It was fun for a short while, this would do awesome as a banner for a website, and i think that was the purpose of it all. This pretty much deserves the score it has, in other words its not just scored well because you made it Dan. Its a simple idea, with simple controls and its very easy to learn, just great for a banner. Here is my review.

The graphics were actually quite impressive, despite being simple. Nothing less than id expect from Dan Paladin. The drawings were all cool, and i liked the fact that you could choose different characetrs, just for fun. I liked the Dad N' Me and Alien hominid ones :P. Those also added a bit of humour to it. Nice colours and smooth animation as well. The style was good, i mean i dont think anyone would go out of their way to play this on a regular basis. But if you try it youll enjoy yourself for a little bit. It does what an interactive banner should do and that is entertain for a short while. The sound was good, there was wasnt much to it, a few cool sound effects and fairly nice quality.

Overall this was a good game and a great banner, and it is nothing less than id expect from Dan Paladin and gel, both of which are in my favourite authors. Way to go yet again guys!

[Black Knight]

Great game!

This was simply a great game, and i could leave it at that because that would sum it up well enough. But there was so much to this game that made it a blast to play for a while. Every main element was great or even better, then there where some things that backed those elements up, such as the addictive factor. Well i cant really complain about anything in general, so here is my review.

The graphics could possibly be the most impressive things about this movie. They were awesome in pretty much everyway. The drawings were reallly good, i love the style they had to them, kind of cartoony to an extent... The detail in them was pretty good as well. The colours were actually very nicely done in this movie, they brightened up the mood a whole lot! The animation was smooth, or at least what there was of it, you could have made the walking more detailed for the knight. The style of the game was great overall. The animating style really helped out here in this case. The idea for the game was simple, but thats what you need for an addicting game. The gameplay just didnt stay addicting for all that long to me sadly. The sound was awesome as well ,though. The sound effects really fit in nicely with what was going on. The voices like "nice shot!" from all the peasants was a very nice touch. And the music really added a lot too, all in all the sounds made for a much more cheerful experience.

Overall this game was great, and it is a recommendation to any of my friends looking for a great new game. i hope you can make more movies/games this good in the near future!

Really well done! Awesome game!

Wonderful job guys, what else can i expect from 2 of my favourite authors on the entire site? Well nothing less than this, thats for sure. I cant say this enough but you guys have yet to fail to impress me with one of your submissions. You guys continue to earn my respect, after tons of your original games, creative movies and multiple talents. Just amazing how you guys can always be so consistant. Here is my review!

The graphics were absolutely good enough for a perfect 10. Everything was just so cool looking!! The graphics were also improved over the demo version for sure. The drawings were refined, along with the backrounds. The animation was surely improved as well. The colours in this fit the sotry perfectly, you used a lot of blues to get that nighttime feel across, it was done simply perfectly. And the way that combined with your animating style was amazing. Way to go for the visuals! The style of this game wicked, not just because some of my favourite authors made it. Your animating style helped out with the overall style in this case. The idea for the game, a simple platformer with a few upgrades, was a really smart one. Perhaps there could have been more enemies, and a wider variety of upgrades. And you have to fix the glitch at the boss, i had to restart my computer to stop the music playing, even after the game was closed. The sound was awesome, sometimes the sound effects didnt quite fit in with its action , but the music almost made up for that. Again dustball you are showing us one of your many talents. The interactivity was awesome, there waas a lot of different ways to attack.

Overall this was an awesome game that was really brought down by the big distracting glitch. If you didnt have that i would have easily given a 10/10, because the rest of it was superb. Keep it up guyz, keep moving up in my favourite authors list!

Nice game, from who other than Glaiel Gamer!

Glaiel you are one of the best game makers on the whole site. No jokes man, i have yet to play one of your games that i dont like. And GAMECUBICLE, you continously impress me with your innovative styles of animation and many different talents, 3D, clay you name it! Well this was another good submissions from both of you, maybe it wasnt visually stunning but it sure had some nice gameplay elements and ideas. Here is my review.

The graphics were satisfying, from simple games i dont expect awesome graphics, except maybe with 3D frogger! But the graphics were still cool in this game, i mean the ball is simple, and not dissapointing, the backrounds were simple, and again kind of cool. The platforms were simple, and made for good gameplay. In this case the graphics help out with other elements, and not just itself and style. The style of this game was awesome though, not for the graphics, but for the simple yet addictive gameplay. I mean it was easy to get into, and easy to STAY into as well. This is not easy to accomplish in a game! The sound was good, it didnt add all that much to the game but it was good to listen to something while playing. The few sounds that you had were nice too.

Overall this was a great game with some simple, unique and addictive elements that make it a game anyone can enjoy. Well once again great job Glaiel and GAMECUBICLE, i hope you guys continue to impress me with innovative ideas!

[METROID: Genesis]

Nice game!

What else can you possible expect from Games of Gondor, other than great game after great game and so on. I have yet to be dissapointed with any Games of Gondor game and i really hope it stays that way for a long long time. All of the games of gondor games are original and innovative with some exceptions like the "defend your castle" style games. This game did have some similarities to other games obviosuly, but the features such as the story and what not are original as far as games go on NG. Here is my review.

The graphics were great for sure. I liked how you were really able to capture that Metroid feel that the Metroid Prime games had. You didnt quite get the atmosphere, and i dont blame you, those games mastered atmosphere creation. The drawings were good, the metroids looked almost spot on, everything was also nicely detailed most of the time, including the backrounds. The visor looked good as well, almost as i remember it. The style in this game was awesome, it is a FPS which we get a lot of, but you put a whole new element to it. You made it Metroid style and that made for a really different experience. The presentation was nice, it was through samus' visor just liek the Prime games. The sound was satisfying but it wasnt quite great. The sound effects seemed too bland often. But still sometimes they did sound good for the situation and thery were essential in making what this game is.

Overall this was a great game, desrving of a great score which it does have. I hope you, and games of gondor can keep us enjoying your games!

[Jak 3: Gold Edition]

Great game...

I actually really liked this game, even if it was rough at some points. I remember playing the last one, and i can say this one is much better. Good ideaon making the gold edition with all those improvements and upgrades. Not only did it get better, but youre game was able to be enjoyed by more people. Well here is my review.

The graphics were good, they could surely be better though. They were rough a lot of the time and during the car scene, they looked poor i must admit. But the effort i see you put into everything was awesome. The backrounds for the most part were actually pretty impressive. Partly because they were detail, but also because the far off backrounds moved with the action, and i thought that was a nice touch. Try to make all the graphics consistant throughout next time. The style was good, the main thing i liked about it is how there were so many different elements of gameplay involved. There was platformer, simply timing your jumps, and adventure as well. The problem is some gameplay methods suffer from frustrating scripting such as the car scene, it didnt look quite right and the time was hard to beat because its hard to time jumps when half of your car is still on land and you fall through. The sound was good, again needs some fine tuning. The actual choice of songs and sound effects was good. The quality didnt really help it out much, and it seemed effort packed yet lacking something. And the voice acting needs some work, Jak's voice was good the other one not so much. The interactivity i must admit is the best i have seen it in a while thanks to all the different gameplay modes.

Overall this was surely a good game and its good to see improvements over the last version. Well i liked it i dont care what people say, it was good. Make another game soon!

[Flying Spaghetti Monster]

Nice game!

This is the kind of game i like to play on newgrounds most of the time. Nicely animated, good idea, and simple gameplay that can stay fun for a long time. I dont like to play games on newgrounds that take 10 pages of intructions to play, and even after those pages you dont understand the game. I like games like this, with short simple instructions and you can just get right into the game.
Well here is my review.

The graphics were actually surprisingly good. I wasnt expecting such good graphics from a game with such simple instructions. But they were really great! The drawings were great, i actually kinda liked the Flying Spaghetti Monster, even if he was ugly :P, he was ugly in a good way. The detail in him, and everything else was very nice. The backrounds looked awesome, even if they were simple, the detail was good. Nice smooth, and even funny animation as well. The style was great too, i loved how this game was so easy to get into and just play. It was done in such a way that it can remain addicting for quite some time. I wish there was maybe more levels, but its not a huge deal. The sound was good, i liked the little tune and sound effects, but there wasnt quite enough to the sound to give it an 8.

Overall i loved this game, it was fun to play for a while, and hence doing a game's job. I hope you can make more simple yet great games like this in the near future. I always look for good games man, and im glad i found this one!

wow, awesome game!

This was really an awesome game, its so addicting. Its also very creative. It does seem all the simple games here on Newgrounds turn out to be the better ones, most of the time. I really liked this one, i think this is my favourite game on this site since Dad N Me. I definitely played it for a while and im not bored of it yet! Here is my review.

The graphics were great in this. In a simple game the graphics are usually simple, they were in this as well, but in a good way. The little viruses looked good, and the backround suit the idea well. The blood cells, white and red were both pretty cool as well. What i found most impressive is how everything fit together so well. The style to this game was easily the best thing about it. The idea was simple, but cool, innovative and original especially for a game storyline. The presentatino was fantastic, the game is so easyto pick up and play and you can keep playing it for quite a long time. The sound was great as well, it added a lot to the final product. The sound effects were good, but maybe you can have a few more like for when you destroy a red blood cell. The music was good, surprisingly it never got old.

Overall this was a great game, definitely provided some amusment and perfect for anyone looking to waste some time playing games. Way to go man, and keep up the great work!
