[Clash'N Slash v2]

Nice! a fun little game indeed.

I wish there was more to this game, because this type of thing cant stay fun forever. But i really had fun while i played it. It was somewhat addicting as it had the elements necessary for addictive gameplay.
I really like the graphics. All the enemies seemed well though out and obviously different from one another. Backround was simple yet very nice to look at. I was impressed by the detail in everything. This game has a great addiciting style to it. It wasnt a breeze either, there were definitely some challeging moments. I liked the idea of being able to upgrade so much, such as the firing speed. Good sound but i think there could be more to it. Perhaps different sound effects when the weapon was changed(sorry if i missed them). The bullets sounded cool and i liked the reaload sound quite a bit. Good audio qualityu topped everything off well.
Interactivity is usually essential in games, and this had enough of it.

Overall a fun gaming experience. I wouldnt say this reached its full potential though. Anyways everything was done well and this is deserving of at least a 4/5!

Nice work!

Good job on this game! It was well done in every aspect. It was original and fairly creative as well. In my review i will explain each aspect of this game.

The graphics were great, and added a whole lot of amusement to this. The drawings were good and pretty detailed. The colours looked like they took you some time too. The backround was impressive, the trees and the mountains were very pleasant to look at, and they were very detailed. The knights looked good, i could tell the effort was there. Your style was okay in this game. Your animating style was very nice, but i didnt like how it felt moving the characters. Perhaps it was a little slow, or it was just hard to move in the practise. The sword slashes were too slow, i mean you pressed it then you would have to wait a while before usign it again. It for frustrating when the computer got you stuck and you just couldnt hit him. The idea was good however, it was presented fairly well. The sound was good, the song was kind of cool and the sound effects were alright. Nothing special about the sound i dont think. The audio quality was pretty good from what i remember. Good violence and great interacivity in this game.

Overall this was pretty good, but there are a few problems with the gameplay mechanics. Im sure this would be fun with another human player, so im giving some points based on that. The final product turned out well so here is a 4/5. Keep at it!

Thanks for your great and constructive review. Mostly the reason for the long slash animations was so instead of just button mashing like hell, you would have to actually time your attacks to win. :)

Good job, a fun little game.

This was good for a couple reasons. It was actually well done as far as gaming on NG goes. In my review i will quickly explain each aspect.

The graphics were good though there was something lacking. It might have been the detail in the backrounds. The detail in the characters was just fine. I cant exactly put my finger on it, but i didnt like your animating style, character design, colours and animation. The style was good overall, but it had one big flaw. The controls werent very well thought out. My hand looked a little awkward while playing, to swtich weapons you had to go to the top of the keyboard when space and D are at the bottom. P was to pause and M was medkit. The controls were all over the keyboard, and it made the final product less enjoyable. The sound was good, but the shot gun and the pistol sounded the same. The music got annoying fairly quickly. But the audio quality was good. The interacivity was good and so was the amount of violence.

Overall the final product made a game worth playing. It could have been better than this if it werent for a few flaws. Anyways keep at it, you got some talent!

Needs work....

Deep beneath all the faults of this game lies a great game waiting to be unleashed. In other words this has potential. Each version is slowly getting better. I will try to explain some of those faults in my review.

The graphics really need work. Im talking mostly about the backround, it was annoying as hell having to look at that while playing. Other than that, the graphics werent too bad , it just needs more detail in the drawings. The style was there, but a little weak. It was a challenging game indeed and the idea was good, but it just wasnt presented properly. This is where i realized this game really has potential. Put a little more effort into the character design as well, the main thing was just a circle. The sound was good i guess, but the music wasnt really my taste. It was a good addition, and i felt you could have chose music to better suit the mood.

Overall this game could be great with some fixing up. Ill be sure to review the next version. Keep at it man.

I reviewd the other finished version, sayin it was a cool idea, itwas presented well and the overall style was good. I stick by that in this one, though everything was slightly improved in this because of the newgrounds mode. Its not really different but its kind of fun watching the flash blow up. I wish i had more to say, but it was all said in the last review i wrote.

Anyways make another game before making another addition to this. 4/5

Nice work, a unique game.

This was cool, i have never seen a game like this, i thought it was gonig to be like a game where you are jus trying to get the most squares but i was wrong, and thats a good thing. This was great for a couple reasons, which i well say in my review.

The graphics were great, this is one of the few games i have played recently that has put effort on the graphics. The drawings of those two little guys were cool, and the actual playing board was cool and kind of detailed. The little atoms were cool too, overall the graphics were pleasnt to look at. I liked the style of this game too, partly because of the animating style, but more importantly because of the original idea. It was also presented pretty well. It seems you created this game from scratch without any inspirations, and thats really cool. The sound was good, i really enjoyed all the sound effects and music in this. They all added to the mood.

Overall this was great, and i had a lot of fun playing it. Great concept and congrats on the high score. Keep it up man, great work! 4/5

What a great game!

Woah this was cool. Such a blast to watch, there is another game in the portal with a whole bunch of different games, i love that kind of thing. This is no less original than that one. This definitely had its own style. In my review i will briefly explain each aspect.

The graphics were kind of funny actually, and they werent half bad overall. They drawings were generally smooth and refined, but the detail could be better. Maybe thats the style you were trying to do. They were pretty wacky and enjoyable to gaze at. The style was wicked cool, because as i said i really like games with a whole bunch of tiny different games which make it up. The "Out of control" nature of this was soo fun to play through. Each game was slightly different than the last. Sound was cool, mostly because of the wacky sounds, and great audio quality. Again the music was fun to listen to. There was some violence in this, but it was cool because it wasnt too gruesome. The interactivity was great, this is a game, games have interactivity! There was also a small humour element in this. Some games made me smile, but not LOL ROLF LMAO ROFLCOPTER LOLLERBLADES!!!..you get the point......

Overall this was great, and as i said a real blast to play. Please make more of this style in the damned near future!! 4/5

Ha, woo, fun fun fun!

This was great. It was just flat out fun, and everything was done well. I will briefly explain each aspect in a fairly detailed review.

The graphics were nice, but i wasnt amazed with them. They did the job, kind of had detial, and a unqiue style, the drawings were decent, but the animation was pretty funny and smooth. Work on the graphics a little bit in your next submission. The overall style of this was great, i loved the idea of putting a bunch of simple games into one master game. Creative and original. Every game was different than the next as well. The sound was great, it was really upbeat and cheerful, and other times it did a good job of setting the mood. Great interactivty, essential in a game.

Overall this was great, i had so much fun playing it. Some things were a little tough to unlock. Anyways keep it up in the future! 4/5

Fucking great!

This was sooo good man, so fun. Awesome job on every aspect, This was absolutely the funnest shooter like this i have ever played since the days of Raptor! This is potentially the best game NG has to offer, along with such greats like Alien Hominid. I will explain each aspect in detail in my review.

The graphics were awesome. Everything about them was good. I really liked the style they had, oldschool kind of , and definitely unique. The colours were really cool and added to the overall amusement factor of the game. The backrounds were cool, very high in detail, and very well drawn. As i said i really liked the oldschool style, it reminds me of the old days when i played Raptor. The animation part was pretty good, it worked on the highest quality for me. It was smooth more than half the time. Great graphics overall.

Your style in this movie was awesome too, and too close to perfect. The animating style also helps out with overall style. The feel to the game was awesome, it really felt like i was playing one of the older games that i played before. The idea of remaking a classic is a great idea, especially when you do it well, and you had your own original flare. The way you presented it was great too, the upgrades, powerups and bombs werent necessary because the game was so good already, but they really added to this by making it much more addicting.

The sound was great, and again sort of oldschool. I think this is the only aspect that could use a little bit of improvement, because the sounds of the bullets hitting an enemy was corny. I enjoyed all the other sounds though. The music was cool, and helped create that "oldschool feel". The audio quality was great too. Nothing much else to say about sound.

The violence was great for a few reasons. This game Was violent enough to satisfy any person in love with it, but if you dont like guresome violence than this is perfect. The interactivity was perfect as this was a game, and also it had menus.

Overall this was sick, as i said maybe the best game on newgrounds. This definitely deserves its very high score. I hope you can make another game liek this in the near future. 5/5
