Hilarious!

Who knew a single joke could be so funny. This part in the amazing movie 300 has consistantly been parodied and YMTD'd but even after all those this is one of the funnier ones without a doubt. I would have never guessed the elongated version of "SPARTA" could be so funny. But on top of the humour, the animation was actually not half bad even if there wasnt that much to it.

Anyways good stuff man. Id like to see more!

This guy might be cooler than James Bond himself!

This was really cool man! This guy managed to pull off some crazy moves like when he dodged the bullet on top of the boss' shoulders and bent backwards to grab a golden gun stuffed in the boss' pants. Though James Bonds' hair is better than this agent's, this guy seems to be more fancy with defeating his enemy. The canadian flag as the parachute was a nice touch as I am canadian myself. The visuals were very stylish and simply well done, i loved the character design and the general crisp look to everything. It seems that if you continue this series, which you definitely should, there will be a tonne of action and even some good old humour. I am really curious as to what the story will be like as well.

So I hope you continue this series, I and many others are looking forward to the first real episode!

Interesting concept.

This is certainly one of the better Sonic based submissions I can think of for a number of reasons. One of these reasons is that everything about this (other than the characters themselves) is completely original. The concept of a dark comedy and the plot of Sonic trying to stop the Evil Sonic and get his own body back is a very creative and original. Im surprised at how successfully you pulled the drama/dark comedy style off, the well-selected music made all the difference here. This is also the kind of thing I'd expect to see as a Halloween special of some sort. The voices were also superbly done, though the audio quality could have been clearer. The one thing I would say to improve on is the smoothness of the animation, because the drawings themselves are good for the most part already.

Keep up the effort in the upcoming parts, I really want to see how this series progresses!!

Comick responds:

Yup! Audio needs work ^^; But I also cant stress how much I loved the voice actors and thier work. Without them, this cartoon would not have been possible. I only hope to make the audio better so that thier voices are heard the way they should be heard, because I feel its my audio work at fault. But I WILL try harder! And thanks for the well thought out review ^^

Very funny, though I dont know why :S

This was good, funny, and even just a little bit on the confusing side. This is a good demonstration of how simple editing and some humour can go a long way. Though there was little actual animation involved, like in our movies, it didnt take away from the fact that this was really entertaining. I also have to mention that I usually really enjoy stupid humour like this, and what an all-star cast of people!

Anyways nice job on this clever, simple and humourous movie. It doesnt follow the norm and i like that in a submission. Good job guys.

Good stuff!

As the first Tenacious D animated video I have seen, I was thoroughly impressed with just about everything. To start, the visuals were very good, from the drawings themselves to the animation. Often the drawings were very humourous, for example the part in the song where Jack sings "and a smaller one for KG", KG looked hilarious waving around like that. The general idea of this flash was also good, I loved how you called it "A Double Tribute" to Tenacious D and Dio. Personally I would have chosen a different song to make a video out of, but you still did a great job with this one.

Overall it was a good movie, make more of these soon!

A good way to show off some of what you can do!

This was a short yet impressive demonstration of all the different styles your capable of as well as your talent for animation in general. There were definitely some really impressive moments in this preview such as when the girl was simply turning a page. The animation here was noticably very smooth, the movement seemed intricate.

This preview makes me want to see some of your other stuff. Keep it up.

Not bad at all!

This was a decent introduction to from the sounds of it, potentially a new series. In my opinion this could pass as a Children's Television Theme song. There was also some humour in this as well, for some reason I found the Unicorn with the smiley face on the side of his head that turns angry at the last second, just comical especially since he was playing the guitar. The graphics were very nice too, I liked your animation style but it looked like you could have more actual movements instead of just lip syncing.

I hope you can get unlazy and finish an actual episode of it. I'll be looking for it!

Good ending to what could be a very good series.

An unexpected ending to a good start of possibly a great series. I hope you have plans to continue this series, setting James Bond in a few different levels. Some of what I liked so much about the first one was missing: the references to the actual Facility in GoldenEye. There was one hilarious one though. The scene with James shooting at a guard right outside the rooms with the scientists and then proceeding to shoot them; again something I did consistantly. This part sometimes strayed a little bit too far from the actual game, and I think that is the source of the lower score.

Either way good job, i want to see more.

Good job again.

To be honest I liked the last part a little bit more because it had more memorable moments from this level, Facility. However, this one did have the funniest scene so far with James shooting at at the glassware on top of the vent as I remember going through this level doing just that. Like the first part, the environment really did look a lot like facility, except a little bit more simplistic. The fact that you kind of had a two-in-one parody this time was interesting and there is not a much better game to do so compared to StreetFighter.

Nice job again and im looking forward to reviewing the final part in Facility.

Great Parody.

You can tell this is a parody made by an author who definitely played his fair share of GoldenEye for the Nintendo64 back in the day or maybe even now. While the animation and the voices were not spectacular, this was really true to GoldenEye in a sense, and was quite funny. I remember doing some of these things back when I played this game such as shooting the dead enemy multiple times just to rub it in.

Anyways this seems well thought out, Im looking forward to seeing the other parts!

Danny-G responds:

Yes, I was very obssesed(still am) with the game. It is my all time favorite game and played it for so many hours back in the day.

My love for the game was the driving force behind making this movie and not my animating skills, which explains why the animation isn't so great but the "feel of the game" in the movie is.

I also loved shooting the dead bodies and even more in the multiplayer.

Thanks for the good comments and for watching the movies! :)

I havent been on NG in so long, this redesign might bring me back!
