Nice, the storyline was awesome.

Another amazing Clock Day 2007 submission, this definitely deserves its spot on the front page. This is an exciting day, but submissions with real effort like this one still dont go unnoticed.

The Clock Crew submissions usually have a certain smooth and simple animation style to them, this seemed to sort of be a mix of two styles :The clock crew's and your own. During the dreams the animation almost seemed to be FBF and outside of the dreams in the real world the traditional Clock Crew animating style seemed to be present. The storyline and how you executed it were actually my favourite part about this whole movie. The story itself was interesting but then you added in some typical clock humour and goofiness.

Overall this was a great submission for today. I hope you can keep up the good work after today as well! Happy Clock Day!

RupeeClock responds:

I know what you mean, my past two clockday movies did get frontpaged yet they got little attention, not over 25000 views at all until much later.

The actual animation in the dreaming is part FBF, part tweening, it depends on what needed to be animated (some circumstances really call for tweens.)

Anyhow, I'm glad you liked every part of this, especially the storyline. :)

Very good! Loved the ending.

I actually did close the submission just as I saw it wasn't finished, but it wasn't a problem watching it again. It was one of the movies today that actually had a point to it, however corny it may have been :P.

The movie was well done on all levels, from the visuals to the funny sounding voice of the duck. It also didnt seem to follow the traditional clock animating style which is a little more smooth around the edges and generally more simple. But it goes back to this animating style and sense of humour that the clocks use when the credits start and the hilarious conversation follows.

Overall this submission stayed true to the name of the Clocks, and was good all on its own. Nice job and Happy Clock Day!

An Excellent ClockDay submission!

I can honestly tell that this is going to shape up to be one of the best ClockDay submissions this year around. The length alone showed that there was at least a little bit of effort put into this. I think on a regular day, this submission would also be successful.

The initial idea was good, and with the help of the song they were playing to, worked out really well. The song playing at the start of the movie was awesome as well, definitely a good choice. The graphics were good, I like how you used a couple pictures of REAL things such as the orange and how you used an elegant clock face for Orange.

Overall this was a great submission for a very special day. Happy Clock Day!

Good fun, love the Zelda references!

Nice movie, what a submission for Clock Day, it will do the collection proud. This movie actually was pretty entertaining without the gross humour (which isn't a bad thing) and endless violence. It was funny in some parts such as when Link was sort of fighting a goomba. This part and a few other parts like that gave me a good chuckle. The visuals were not technically stunning, but had a nice colourful style to them and you did Strawberry Clock justice.

Overall it was a good submission, and the great day in which its celebrating made it even better. Happy Clock Day!

ToiletRollClock responds:

Thanks man. That was really nice.
I admit it I'm not the best with graphics but I try to make up for it with the jokes. I tried to use crappy graphics to my advantage though by making the Zelda game look wonky.

Happy Clock Day, man. Hope you're having a good one.

That was actually hilarious!

Even on an awesome day like Clock Day it is fun to see some genuinely good submissions such as this one. The visuals were all there and I rather like the idea of a ChalkClock. On top of how the character looks, the name "ChalkClock" itself is clever. The sound was good, the voice acting, however plain it was, made most of the jokes even funnier. The idea of a monologue was good as well.

So good job, i loved the humour and the character. Happy Clock Day!

Solid demonstration of talent.

This was definitely a good way to show of some of the great animation you could do, introduce some of your characters and maybe even to get some extra views on old submissions.

This also showed what your capable of, and it seems like that is quite a bit. Your animating style and the funny cartoony style of your characters is really distinct and its almost like it belongs just to you. No one else animates even close to the way you seem to. The actual animation was smooth even with a lot of movement. The song choice fit in very well somehow with everything happening in the movie.

Overall this was great, entertaining and indeed impressive. Keep it up!!!!!!!

This was great fun!

Weird Al songs seem to be some of the best music to animate to. They provide a sort of guide as to what you should be drawing but also allow many points for your own creativity and like a few other people, you took advantage of this.

The visuals were smooth and simple and the same goes for the animation. Im not sure exactly what you did, but the part at end of the course with the red letters looked (and of course) sounded really cool. The song selection was good and it seemed like it could potentially be fun to animate to. (Even if you didnt enjoy yourself :P) Your talent for animation combined with the humour of the song made for some really amusing moments.

Overall this was a great and humourous Weird Al movie. Keep up the great work on all future submissions!!!

Very fun, but i would wanted it to be longer.

Everything from the visuals to the voice acting were really good which is why I wish it was longer. It would have been cool to see other characters too.

The voices and the look of the two characters combined was actually quite funny. I thought the kid would have more of a voice that suits him and the Ghost's was just funny in general. The graphics were great too, detailed backgrounds, funny character models and comical facial expressions. The idea was clever and was executed pretty well considering how long this movie was.

Overall this was a fun little movie. I hope you make more longer movies in the future.

Another great Weird Al submission!

This was a great submission, and I loved it how you mixed in how South Park portrays Canadians. The song itself providing this flash with a huge part of its humour but you still managed to use it in a creative way that definitely makes the entire thing seem original. The song was a great song to animate to, provding lots of funny moments. You really made good use of it. The graphics resembled those of South Park quite a bit, which indeed was a good thing.

Overall this was a very entertaining and generally well done submission. Keep up the good work.

** I Recommended this submission for Music Videos and Weird Al collection like you subliminaly asked :P**

I really enjoyed this, everyone did well.

Great idea for this collaboration and I love how most authors executed it. The general style to the flash was entertaining but what really set this apart from many other collabs I have seen is some of the artists different interpretations of the Apocalypse. Some authors had something more common being the main subject of their clip such as the devil taking over while others did very interesting things such as making the Sun and Jupiter (the big guys in the solar system) pick on and kill Earth. Another very unique clip I can quickly recall is where the moon's husband, the Earth is exploding. The graphics were usually pretty good, none really stood out as being worse than another. The sound was just the 3 Linkin Park songs. I think one or two would have done nicely and then search for a third or fourth if necessary from a different artist.

Overall this was a great collab with a cool idea. It is always nice to see different animating styles come together in a movie like this. Way to go guys.

Rudy responds:

Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it. I liked the variety of styles as well, and I'm glad you do too. Your review means alot. Thanks so much.
