[Tears of Red]

LIAR!!!!

I saw the very first image of this and i was like "This guy is a fucking liar" But thats a great thing in the case! I was amazed at that first image, and then i read that its your first flash. I was honestly like WTF! anyways in my review i will explain each aspect briefly, Great Flash Deserve Great Reviews.

The graphics were too good to be in first flash. You must have put effort into each little thing about graphics. From detail in the environments to smooth animation, this had both of those and more. The drawings were sweet, and again i was aamzed at how good they were for a first. The detail was great, and not excessive and i liked how everything was grey,black and white, except the leaves and blood. So great animating style. Your overall style was great, a big thanks should go from you to Rob, who did a fantastic job with the story. But your animating was great, and the feel was as well. The way you presented the idea was awesome. The sound was also really good, i know it was meant not to have any sound effects, and it set the mood having done it that way but without sound effects its hard for me to give higher sound points. Anyways the music was great.

Overall i still cant believe this is your first. Thats just amazing and think of the things youll be doing in the future! So many possibilities! Anyways leave a response if you can, and im already anticipating your next submission. 4/5

hey!!!!!!
well this is my first proper flash .. meaning i had experimented with it before ... 3 times?? they were all frame by frames .. and all went for about 5 seconds each?? not worth putting on newgrounds hehe (one of them was a ball moving from side to side.... GREAT!!)
but yeah ... its not my first time drawing on computer eitehr?? hehe so that probably helped out a bit :D

[The Real Master Chief]

Woo, nice work!

This was great man! It started off so well ,and really got me wondering what the rest was going to be about. I didnt think this was going to be funny at first, but it definotely turned out to be. In my review i will briefly explain each aspect.

The graphics were great, but i especially enjoyed the first 3 pictures. The drawings were nice, they were fairly detail and Master Chief's suit appeared in proportion. THe colours were accurate too. The backrounds were simple, but they did the job. The animation was generally good, but i think the running could have been animated a bit better. Your style was very good, but the way you presented the movie was a little worse than i had expected. I mean it started out kind of dramatic, then it got silly. That made more bad things than good. But i liked the idea when it got going, it was definitely very creative. The feel was good too, the music did a good job of making it all seem HALO like. The sound was great, all the music was very clear and i loved all of it. As i said the music created a more HALO like experience, and they also set the mood. The humour wasnt the greatest i have ever seen but there was definitely some there. This whole thing made me smile.

Overall you did a very good job. And this is deserving of its high score. "Please keep it up with the quality sumbmissions in the future! 4/5

Wow. I am very impressed with the time and effort you put into your review. In my response, I will say that this was not a serious piece but a comedy piece with a serious introduction for contrast. I tried my best to duplicate the MC's armor so that Hasselhoff would be believeable a the cheif. Unfortunately, Animation with symbols is not my strong point as seen in the two walking animations. If it had been frame by frame it would have looked a lot nicer but it would have taken 13 years to complete. I tried to integrate pictures for a more realistic experience, mainly because they look nicer and because they save LOTS of time. I believe Music is very important to a flash, and that is why I made several adjustments to audio using my bootlegged copy of "Acid Pro." Humor could be a little less immature but I think this type communicates with all audences. Again, Thank you for your massive review: If you took the time to write it I will take the time to acknowledge it. Rock On!

[Len - ep. 1 - part 2/2]

Again nice work!

I still wish the graphics werent fuzzy. The drawings and everything themselves are very very good. Its just the quality of the "movie" itself.

Anyways i liked this one much better. The other was sort of an intro, and in this one there was some action and a made some progress in the story. I forgot to mention the envrionments in my review to part one. As one review said "Post-Apocolyptic" i couldnt have said it better. Thats exactly what they seemed like. The movie quality was a bit better in this one, wasnt quite as fuzzy throughout. The sound was great in this, just like the last but this time for different reasons. The sound effects were what impressed me this time, not the music. The audio quality again was good. Your style didnt really change, it was good in the last part so it will be good again.

Overall this one was better than the last one. This was more enjoyable to watch, and think about while i reviewd. I cant wait until the next one. Keep up the great work!4/5

Hey, thanks Chris. Yeah, sorry about the fuzziness. It was sort of a trade-off since the original swf was a huge file itself, and it didn't even have the music and effects that we added in post. So I had to compress the movie to keep it under 5 megs, and well, you can see what happened. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. Thanks for the review.

Woah....

My question is how do you do graphics liek that!?! Theyre like amazing. Anyways this was good, definitely a great start to what seems like a very promising series. Everything was done well, it was a tiny bit boring but i realize this was more of an intro. In my review i will briefly explain everything.

The graphics, as i have already mentioned, were brilliant. They were so well drawn it was incredible. The colours were amazing too, the detail in the sand was astounding as well. The backrounds were sweet, and even they had their own style. The whole submission had a really unique animating style, but i just loved it. The animation appeared very smooth. Your style was mainly in the animating style. The feel was good, but it was ruined a little bit by the fuzzy quality. The way you presented this was great, seemed pretty professional. I wish more was able to happen, like action and perhaps a little more development in the story. The sound was cool, i really liked that song that was playing in the backround. It was good enough to listen to by itself, and it set the mood in this very well. The audio quality overall seemed to be pretty good.

Overall this was very well done. Congrats on a real quality submission. I hope the next part is even better, im going to watch it now. Great job one this again! 4/5

Thank you for the thorough review. Glad you enjoyed it, and you're the first guy to comment on the music, which was original and composed just for this movie. Yeah, we were hoping to put a little more action in it, and sorry about the low vid quality, but we will improve in the future. Hope you enjoy part 2.

Great work!

This was great, its good to see a full episode after the trailer. It allows me to see how much progress you have made, and its good to see the real development in the story. This was a little different than the other flash i have seen, i ill explain that and every other aspect briefly in my review.

I liked the graphics they were very artistic. The shadows and such were very well done. I love the first scene with the light shinimg on the dust, it created a really cool effect. I loved the main menu aswell. The colours were nice and i enjoyed the backrounds. Your animating style was impressive in my opinion. Your overall style in this was great too. A big part of this goes to your animating style, which i have alredy said was great. I loved the feel to this movie, how the animation worked with the music and the way this idea was presented. The idea is pretty cool as well. I liked the music a lot for a couple reasons. It was an original piece and really helped create the mood and feel very well. The only thing bad about sound is that lack of sound effects, i dont recall hearing any at all.

Overall very well done. I really liked it, the trailer was a great way to get this noticed. Anyways i hope the next part will be even better. Keep up the great work! 4/5

Wow, nice work!

This was great, especially for a first submission to NG. This was just really cool, and really fun to watch, and thats important to any flash. In my review i will explain each aspect briefly.

The graphics were great, i loved watching them interact and such. Just a fun experience. The actualy drawings were simple (probly cuz it was an FBF) but they were cool at the same time. The colours were nice, and the animation was very good, FBF at its best just about. Your style in this movie was great too, and not just for one reason. The feel was great, i coudlnt help but enjoy this. The idea was cool and i always love randomness, but well organized randomness(if that makes any sense!) I would only say work on getting some backrounds, because if you had one i would be able to give you points for your animating style. The sound was good in this, but i think there are better songs out there you could have chosen. This song was upbeat i loved that about it, but as one of the last reviews said "Its not the kinda music that gets stuck in your head and u start 2 hum" The audio quality was great too!

Overall this was great, and i really liked it. Its even better as this was your first to NG. I hope you can continue to get better in the future, please keep up the good work! 4/5

[Star Wars Episode 3: ROTV]

Wow i wasnt expecting this!!

Wooo great work on everythnig. I truely wasnt expecting this, i was just assuming it was yet another star wars parody. What i got was something much better and i thank you for that. I will breifly explain each aspect in my review.

The graphics were quite good having used sprites. Im usually not a big fan of sprites but this is a definite exception. The backrounds were fairly detailed and you chose the characters pretty well. The animation looked fluent and smooth. Your style was just great, again with the great looking sprite animation. But also the way you made fun of star wars wasnt like the other flash i have seen. It was fresh and unique. Your story was pretty funny and i enjoyed it a lot. The feel was good, it was soo fun watching the fight scene. The sound was also very good in this. The sound effects were great, and the star wars songs were good to inform the viewers that it was indeed a star wars spoof. They kicked in at just the right times you needed them at. The voice acting was awesome, there was great expression in every characters voice, every character also sounded totally different. I couldnt get enough of the humour in this. The entire thing was laugh out loud funny. I especially liked the part near the end where Vince said something liek "next time dont fuck around with some one better than you" I laughed my ass off at that part.

Overall great job, i could not have enjoyed this more. Im surprised this doesnt have even a 4. Anyways please keep it up in the future. I give you a 5/5.

This was truely awesome, i cant find anything bad to say about this other than the file size which isnt a big problem for me, and you have a great excuse. Honestly everything was done very well, this was approaching the professional mark. I will explain each aspect in my review. Great Flash Deserve Great Reviews.

The graphics were amazing. I was blown away at the amount of effort you put into everything, just great to see so much. The drawings were fantastic, everything was in proportion and the detail in them was great. I loved how each of the main characters looked totally different. The colours were awesome, and they really contributed to your animating style. Your animating style seemed just about perfect based on this movie. The backrounds were even more detailed than the character drawings. The animation was wicked too, it was so smooth, professional indeed. Overall awesome job on the graphics.

Your style in this movie was so close to perfect i have to give you a 10. Everything about style was just soo cool. The animating style, as i mentioned, helps both the graphics and the overall style.
I really enjoyed just watching the movie, you did a great job of making this amusing, even if there wasnt action. The feel was great too because it felt like a real cartoon. I dont know exactly how you did that, but you did! The idea and presentation were both great, almost perfect.

Now on to sound. It was brilliant for many reasons. An important reason being the incredible voice acting. Each character had a very different voice, also each voice had great expression and characterization. The sound effects were very nice and some of them even helped set the mood. I loved the music, all of it, but especially in the intro. The audio quality topped everything off very nicely.

This was also very funny, but im not going into detail here , you know the funny parts!

Overall fantastic work! This was really well done and no wonder it took a year of work. Congrats on the high score, and this definitely deserves it. I cant wait for the next episode, if there will be one. 5/5

Wow, what an awesome review! Yeah man, sometimes I felt like I was chizzling this from ones and zeros, much like a sculptor. It was so damn involved. I made sure that every second of the cartoon had some sort of meaning, or at least helped pull the story along. I'm really tempted to release a tutorial on how I animated this... it was easy, but very time consuming. Maybe when I get a website going.

People like you keep me making these, and believe me, there WILL be more! Lots more! Two more parts to this one and then the sky's the limit! As for SAMV 6? Not sure yet, but me and Ed are planning something truly great...

[House Wars Ep 3 Part 1]

woah nice work.

This was definitely good and in my opinion it should have a higher score. Nothing about this was done poorly, you put effort into every single aspect. In my review i will briefly explain each aspect.

The graphics were awesome. I enjoyed the real pictures but i enjoyed your drawings even more, though there could have been more detail. The backrounds were all nice, and the animation was smooth and just cool. Your animating style seemed to be pretty unique. I really liked your style in this movie. It was just funny and cool, kind of like the animating style. The feel was good, though i find it hard to explain. The idea was very creative and you presented it in a great way. The sound was also great, a big part of this because of the voice acting. Each character had a different voice, and the characterization in each one was awesome. The sound effects were good as well, and to top sound off the audio quality was good. The humour was soo good in this movie. This mostly has to do with the voice acting, i really enjoyed the conversations.

Overall this was very well done. Once again i think this deserves a higher score. Anyways keep up the great work in the future, and now im off to watch and review pt2! 4/5

I actually really liked that!

I wasnt expecting this to be good at all, but i was wrong. This was good, and very funny. I will briefly explain each aspect in my review.

The graphics were simple but they were cool. I liked the characters, they were sort of funny looking. The backround was well chosen, even though you obviously didnt draw it. The different colours was anice addition to the characters. The style was very good. Though there wasnt too much of an animating style, the feel and mood were good. The dialogue was funny, and really was the deciding factor of this short movie. The idea was good, it seemed creative and very original. The sound was also good, all because of the voice acting in this case. There were a few sound effects, which were cool. Also, there seemed to be backround sound effects, or it could have just been the mic.Either way it made this more pleasnt to watch. The voice acting was funny, also very good too. The acting combined with that dialogue is a winning combination. The audio quality was clear enough that you didnt need subtitles, so thats a good thing as well. On to the humour, thats what this flash was based around i think. It was very funny, because of the acting, dialogue and overall idea. I laughed at some parts.

Overall this was good for a couple reasons. Keep in mind i only reivew things i enjoy, so be happy! The score you have isnt a real reflection of what this deserves. Look at the Review Average...
Anyways i hope you come with more good submissions in the future!
