[Super Smash Sisters]

HAHA great work! :)

Great job on this! This was such an interesting spin on usual mario parodies. I think this is the first one i have seen that uses daisy and peach as main characters. Not only that, but this new spin was done really well. Here is my review.

The graphics were good, i have certainly seen some better sprite work fairly recently, either way this was just good. The choice of sprites was good, and i found the micheal jackson one funny, its just the animation could all be smoother. That alone would make this movie much better. The style was great! I loved the idea, and also your presentation of it. The idea is definitely different to that of a typical mario parody. Your presentation was good because you gave this humour, and a good storyline. The sound was good too, though i wasnt blown away by it. All the sounds and stuff were good, but they could have flowed together a bit better. And sometimes there should have been sound effects where there werent. The humour as i kind of already mentioned was really good.

Overall this was a great movie despite a few little problems. Love the title, and loved the flash! Keep em coming!!! 4/5

[Objectionable Apparatus]

Awesome, but what the hell was it??

I wasreally confused with what happened in this movie, though i loved it. Though towards the end it started to make a lot more sense. I loved everything about this, and absolutely nothing was done poorly. This definitely out of the ordinary. Here is my review.

The graphics were close enough to perfect that i gave a 10. The drawings were great, and they had a really cool style to them. They were not the most detailed ever, but really welldrawn none the less. The colours were awesome, i dont know how you animated an entire movie with those colours. The animation throughout was really smooth.
The style of this movie was awesome, i wish the whole movie was a tiny bit clearer though. Still i loved the animating style quite a bit, and the idea really appeared great at the end. The presentation was great too! The sound was great despite a few audio quality issues. The sound effects and music were really cool, but they also melded together very well.

Overall thiswas an awesome movie, and it is always nice to see different movies in the portal. Please keep the great work coming!!! 5/5

[A Very Short Western]

LOL nice!

Great work on every aspect of this "short" movie. I wasnt dissapointed so much with the length because of the title "a very short". I got a lot more than i expected from that and the rest of the movie.

The graphics were awesome, i was close to giving a 10, but the faces werent animated quite right. They were still great though. I loved the drawings and i loved the atmosphere they created. The colours were really well done, you really made it seem like a sunset. And the animation was up there with the best of animation! The style of this movie was awesome, firstly because i liked your animating style. But the idea is really creative, i really wasnt expecting that joke at the end, i thought this was a more serious flash. The sound was great, good voices sound effects, but the quality could be improved. The humour, was one great joke!

Overall this was a great movie in every way. Im sure everyone who saw this either liked it or loved it. Keep the high quality submissions coming!! 4/5

Awesome

This was a really great movie. Also you can consider it different than any other movie, its not krinkels' stuff, but it isnt just a crappy rip off either. It was a well done tribute i guess you could say. Well this is the best "madness" style movie other that the works of the genious that is krinkels. Here is my review.

The graphics were great, the one critique i have here is how you almost had to turn the quality low, it ruined the smooth appearance of the drawings. And the backrounds/room design wasnt all that detailed. The drawings of the characters were good, i liked how each or almost each character/enemy looked totally different. All the guns and stuff were well drawn as well. The style of this movie was awesome, i love how this was a good replica of the madness series, not just some n00b first flash attempt. The animating style was great, and i loved the idea. I still love how the speech is done in icons rather than words. No other flash that i have seen has done that before. The sound was awesome too, the music did grow a bit repetitive towards the end, but i loved it anyways. The sound effects that you did have were great as well, its just at some points sounds could have been eaisly used. The violence definitely earned a perfect score here.

Overall this was an awesome movie, just like Awesome Productions ;). Well i cant wait until the fourth episode, i hate you for putting in that cliff hanger!!! This was definitely worth the wait! 4/5

[Stand Alone]

Solid, good message!

Great work on this short animation, this really deserves all the success it has without a doubt. I liked it for a few reasons, and im looking for bad things to say and i have none! Welll here is my review.

The graphics were great, i dont know exactly what you did with them so for that i cant give a full 10. They were very cool looking anyways, i liked how watching the movie felt with those graphics. The smooth style of them could not go unnoticed, it was very cool! The style of this movie was awesome though, and not just because of the graphical style. The idea is creative, and the way you presented that idea and the message was really well done, kind of like a commercial. What ever way you did it was great. The sound was good, but i still gave an 8 because yuou used it effectively. The music alone was cool anyways.

Overall this was a great movie, the sad thing is nothing amazed me, or set me over the edge to give this a higher score though i see why people would love it. Anyways keep at it! 4/5

[Transitions Episode 1]

haha! Awesome!

This is the follow up to the best preview i have ever seen. You got me anticipating the release of the first episode after i saw the preview, which showed perfectly what this series was going to be about. Well it seems like such a long time since i saw that preview, but it was definitely worth the wait! This weeks number 1 flash wont win it easily!! This is in the top 3 so far!

The graphics, while they could be a tiny bit better in some areas were awesome throught. Some of the backrounds could have been designed with more detail, but other than that there were little or no flaws at all. I loved the drawings of the characters, they have a really cool style to them. I loved the shadow effect you used in this movie. The colours were very well done along with the smooth animation. The style was just about perfect in this, close enough for me to give a 10, and i liked it for a couple reasons, one being your animating style. I loved the idea and plot of this, even though it is star wars, you released this well afte the stream of star wars movies came in, so its just as creative and original. The story progression in this was great too, this was perfect for a first episode. The sound was excellent in this, every little thing about it was. You used star wars music and sounds to get the whole "mood" that the real movies create. The other sound effects were excellent too. To top it off the voices were superb, they all had geat expression. The humour in this was worthy of a 9, the good thing about this series is that it has humour but it is not purely comedy based. There are other elements that make it great!.

Overall this was truely some awesome work, after seeing this i must see episode 2. I will greatly anticipating its release. This is a definite contender for #1 flash of the week, and this week is tough

I managed to nab 1st daily which pleases me no end, my aim was to better the trailer and so far ep 1 has so thanks to all of you who have been kind enough to vote and to comment on this. With a fan base this strong/enthusiastic you can garentee this series will continue to its finale.

[Attack of the Monoids]

Very good, fun to watch!

I will start off by saying i wish this was longer, but what i saw was quite good, and as i said fun to watch. Other than the length i cant really complain about anything in this, it had nice visuals, a good style to it, great sound, and even contained a good amount of humour. Well heres my review.

The graphics were awesome, in my opinion and im sure in the opinions of many others they were awesome too. In other words, the graphics had a very pleasant, yet detailed feel to them. The drawings were great, i loved how each and every animal looked. The animating style of this movie was really good, you put effort into everything it seems, including the backrounds. And i cant forget to mention the animation, it was very good and smooth! :D The style of this movie was awesome and i would have given a 9, if i werent slightly dissapointed with the length. But everything else you need for an awesome style was there. And that includes animating style, idea, presentation, and how the final product turned out with what you used. The sound was great too, i liked the various sound effects, but mostly the voices. They were just talking jibberish, but i found it funny, sometimes they reapeated syllables lol : ). The humour in this was good, i found myself laughing or smiling through a lot of it.

Overall this was a very good movie, just make your next one longer, if it does well ill be sure to watch it. Please leave a response if you can and keep up the great work! 4/5

I blame the length on a couple of things. One of them is just the length of the gag. At first I only had the aliens pulling up and doing the Visa joke, but decided that was painfully short and added the gopher scenes. The other is simply that this was sort of a trial for me. I was trying to establish my methods with this project.

Athough I've done a great deal of illustrating and some animation with other programs creating Flash animations purely for entertainment is somewhat new to me. I'm trying to find ways to create good quality in a reasonable time frame. This animation is 30 fps, I personally don't like to see jerky animations and I won't sacrifice frames to get an animation done.

I also had to script the aliens even though they weren't speaking english.
Every single nonsense word was written down. If I used a word in a previous sentence I used it again. It seemed I had to have some sort of actual language If I was going to lip sync these guys.

I expect the next animation to be longer just because I believe I managed to refine my methods doing this one.

My biggest consern was that people wouldn't think it was funny. This is an example of me being somewhat conservative. I plan to let go a little with the next cartoon.

Great work!

Definitely an awesome start to what appears to be an awesome series! I really enjoyed this first episode, even though some polishing up and fine tuning is needed. As the series progresses these things will basically come naturally.

The graphics were great and at some points very impressive, its good to see the start of this series with great visuals already. During the rapid scene changes in flashbacks, sometimes it grew unclear as to what was going on. But i loved the drawings in this, and the animation was good in general. The style was pretty good in this, and not because he was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee :D. I enjoyed your animating style, but more importantly i enjoyed the idea. It was pretty random, but all in all it made sense as to what the whole episode was about. The sound was good, but it could use some improvements without a doubt. Im sure you were aware of this, but Darth's voice was really messed up, his sentence was extremely hard to hear, and the audio throughout was fuzzy. But even with those flaws, i liked the sound effects and voice acting. The humour was great in this, keep the upcoming episodes funny!

Overall this was a great first episode. I hope they even get better from here on. Keem em coming storng, and fix that audio ;)4/5
