Great! A start to another great series!

This was a very good start to what appears to be another great series on NG. I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out, it came out very amusing and well done in each aspect. There was a large number of random incidents in this, which made it even more amusing in a way, everything was always unpredictable, and appeared original. I can honestly say i have not seen anything like this before. Anyways here is my review.

The graphics were great overall, there were a few points where i was actually very impressed with the animation. The drawings are great, they are simple but they do the job, and are perfect for the idea of the flash in my opinion. The colours were nothing special, they were basic and were just good enough. The animation was kind of funny at some points, like when you got lazy and the walking was just them moving up and down. That gave me a bit of a laugh! The style was awesome overall, for a few reasons as well. It was all pretty random and original at the same time. I liked how the characters' names were Dude1,Dude2 and Dude3, its just a funny way of doing things. The style of humour was pretty creative, you managed to be very random yet very funny at once. The sound was great too, the voice acting was just good enough and the expression was sufficient where you needed some. Good sound effects as well, i just liked the sound overall.

Overall this was a funny movie with a very satisfying length and presentation. I really hope the next episodes can live up to this one, if this was only a pilot than im expecting more from the following episode. I have a good feeling you wont dissapoint!

The names came simply from when I was initially writing the script I was coming up with script ideas before names, so I game them the temporary names "Dude 1", "Dude 2" and "Dude 3"... which is why the characters appear in that order in the episode. Then I just decided the names were just stupid enough to work if I left them like that! Plus it gives me opportunity for various jokes in future episodes and such. Thanks for the extensive and complimentary review!

The best episode so far.

Really good job. I am pleased to say this is definitely the best episode yet, for a number of reasons. This series has done well in remaining true to its name since the second episode, and i hope it continues this way up until the very last episode. This particular episode improved on many of the things that i suggested in my reviews, such as the visuals, humour and length. Here is my review.

The graphics arent quite at an 8 yet, but in this one they seemed to be getting closer. Everything was just slightly improved, the detail was more evident, the colours seemed smoother, the effects like shadows were done, and the animation was better overall. Keep working on those visuals! The style of this episode was approaching a 9/10. The animating style is good as it always has been. The idea of this one, seemed like more of a side story for the most part, but i liked it. I think its a good idea to add another member into the group, it could potentially add a lot more humour in some situations. The length was also pretty satisfying in this one, nice work on that. The sound was great, good sound effects and great voice acting, it was a bit corny for the new character, but effective nonetheless.

Overall this was a great movie, surely the funniest one in the series so far. I really wonder how this series will end up. Im eagerly waiting your next movie, dont take too long, and keep up the great work!

Cool! Way to go!

This was pretty good stuff man, i dont think its review score quite reflects how good this really is. Maybe because they didnt like the overall style of it, like your animation style and what actually happened in the movie. It was pretty good in every aspect, though some were noticably better than others. Still everything as better than avergae so congrats on that at least. Here is my review.

The graphics were great as a whole, in the end they certainly did the job. The drawings were good, the detail and proportions of the characters could use some tuning here and there. The colours suit the flash nicely, even the pink ships looked really good. The animation with your drawn characters was a bit too slow, but it was still alright. What really impressed me was the 3D stuff, it was awesome, really nice detail, smooth animation and they just looked really cool! The style was great too, the 3D animating style was awesome, while the other was simply good. The idea for the movie was good, there could have been more of a story in it. You managed to make the presentation could and almost heart felt! The sound was good, the quality could have been a bit better. All the sound effects for the guns and stuff were from Counter Strike, so they were good, but seemed a bit out of place on occasion.

Overall this was a great movie, especially to your big fans. It was good on each aspect, and in the final product everything seemed to work well together. I hope you can continue making good movies like this, and keep submitting your stuff to the portal.

LOL, i wasnt expecting that at all!

Awesome job on this, i wasnt expecting much out of this to be honest. I had no clue it was going to be animated with such awesome stick style, and i dont see nice stick styles very often at all. This was actually one of those random battles that actually managed to be original and completely amusing. You do really have some talent, you really showed me this with this and Paladin 3. Here is my review.

The graphics were awesome overall. I loved your design for the stickmen, while they were obviously simple, they were original and actually nicely done as well. The backround was alright, it was nothing really new or original but it did the job it should, and that is to provide a good fighting area for the sticks! What i was really impressed with about the graphics is the animation. It was always very smooth even when the bodies grew numerous. I also got a kick out of the lip syncing! The style was awesome too, it isnt often you see sticks animated with such a cool style, or animated well at all. The idea was good of making a random battle, but with adding some funny dialogue in. I thought it was going to end right after Xiao Xiao was killed, but i enjoyed the stuff after that. The sound was really good as well. Really cool sound effects, nice audio quality overall and the voice acting was pretty good. Just a nice job for sound.

Overall this was a great movie, and it has some things that are original, with some that have been done before. In the end it seemed like a totally new movie and i loved everything about it. It was good to see some humour at the end, it really put me into a good mood. I hope your future projects are going well, keep up the great work!

Ah! This was a bit better! Your coming back...

This is the kind of stuff i best know you for, Knox. The random style of humour doesnt ever really get old. And your last submission lacked a bit of this humour that i love. Well what im saying is this one was a definite improvement over your last submission. It was almost like you were a bit rusty having not submitted anything for a while, during the production of your movie. But i think that "rust" is gone and your back just like you were before! Here is my review.

The graphics were awesome, they always are and always have been with you. Still i think your one of the best stop motion animators on the site, and the best known artist who does claymations. The characters are memorable each and every time. They are simple, but all your fans have really grown to love the simple blue clay man. The stopmotion itself is wonderful, its always so smooth i forget they arent real! The style of this movie wasnt all that much improved over your last one, even if it was a bit better. There was a bit of standing around in this one, not to the extent of your previous movie however. I still love your ideas, always totally random, and you really know how to make the most of them. The sound was great yet again, nice voice acting, funny sound effects, and they add a lot to the final product.

Overall this was a really good claymation, i think your coming back man, this was certainly an improvement. Im also glad to mention the humour was better in this one too, a few chuckles and lots of smiles for me. I hope you can keep submitting your stuff to NG, even after all your movies, youre style isnt getting old!

Great job! Another from the Lock Legion!

Very nice work on this movie, its been too long since ive last seen a lock legion movie like this. It was actually pretty good on all levels, there was some noticable room for improvement here and there however, i will explain what i mean later on. But this is the kind of stuff i enjoy with the lock legion, so obviously i was fairly pleased with it all. As i say with each of my reviews to lock legion submissions, you guys are very consistant, more so than the clock crew. Here is my review.

The graphics were great, just as id expect from an LL submission. I really love each and every one of your styles, they are similar because the animation is always so smooth, but there are always still differences that make each one seem fresh. The drawings in this one were good, and i liked the detail in the characters, though the backgrounds could have a bit more i suppose. The colours were bright and definitely fit the animation style. The style of this was really good overall in terms of the graphics, and basic idea. But the presentation faultered at some points such as when you seemed to leave some important elements out of the story like a sufficient ending. The sound was great too, i liked the voices in this because i havnt heard some of them before. Nice sounds too, but sometimes the sound went a bit out of sync.

Overall this was a really good movie, and it is for reasons like this that i actually like the Lock Legion in general. Way to go on a great submission, the lock legion deserves more respect than they get i think. Anyways keep the great submissions coming!

WOW!

Absolutely incredible! Mind Blowing, this is how i feel after watching each one of your submissions. Before watching this i hoped to feel that feeling of total amazment that i felt after watching the rest of your submissions on this site. And im really glad to say i did feeling that feeling that i was hoping for. I rememer, back when i first started coming here regularly, the first good movie i watched was Bitey of Brackenwood, and that movie alone is what kept me coming back, looking for other awesome submissions like that. So i have many memories from this series. Its always nice to see familiar characters too, such as the Farty Yellow Fatsack. You are considered the best animator on the site in my books. Here is my review.

The graphics to start off, were stunning. As i said you are the best animator on the site, and i think you are by a longshot. The environments you can create using flash is almost inconcievable. Your 3rd flash, Hitchhiker, i though had amazing visuals but then the Brackenwood series comes along and just amazes me on a level i never thought possible. And your animation has only improved since your last movie. The drawings were beautiful, the characters were drawn with stunning detail and originality. The effetcs you use to show evening time or night time, or even just your shadow effects are something no other author has done, or has done those things at a much lower level than you. The lush green fields you can create are amazing, as well as the forests, which seemed almost realistic even with this style. The detail in simply everything was fantastic, the characters, backrounds, and even the animation. The actual animation of this was so close to perfect, i cant name even one point where it could be improved. Its amazing how you can use colours to show sunsets and darkness so well. I wish there were more authors who have talent like this!

The style was no worse than perfect. I mean after all that i saw in that movie, it would be stupid to give anything less than a 10. The animating style was sublime and was just one of the many factors that contributed to your perfect score here. Your style canot be done by anyone else, at least from what ive seen, you basically cant compare another animating style to this. Your effort obviously goes a VERY long way, and after watching this it isnt a wonder why it took so long to release, and well it was worth the wait. The idea and presentation of it was fantastic, all your ideas have simple yet very charming stories or plots that i just have to fall in love with. The length was perfect as well, a good 6:30, not too long and definitely not too short. The whole feel i got while watching this is one of its many memorable trademarks.

The sound is another thing that makes this series one of the best or the best series on Newgrounds. Every tune , song, sound effect, noise, voice all seem original, even if theyre not on occasion, and its way beyond me how you are able to do this so well. The sound effects are awesome, i really do get the feeling im walking around in a forest filled with critters and insects. The addition of ROARS and Bitey's chuckle and other noises was a great one indeed. A little different yes, but it really turned out for the best. The songs are all so perfect for the series. The songs you make seem so heartfelt and you really take into consideration what will be happening during the movie while you compose the music it seems. And besides all of that the quality is excellent.

The humor has never been done better in any of your movies that ive seen. A lot of it was cute humour good for a smile or a small chuckle. More specifically parts such as when littlefoot is running with all his might but Bitey is keeping up just walking, or when the farty yellowfatsack runs away making his famous noises.

Overall this was an amazing movie, i know the next wont disapoint, you arent the type to do that to your fans. You were my fav author of all time and this is my fav submission for the time being. Your talents never fail to amaze me!

Dude.. thankyou :)

Pretty good but not your best.

Well it was a good movie, the good thing is nothing really dissapointed me all that much, but i surely have been impressed more than this with some of your other submissions. That being said, your claymation is consistantly getting better and better, and i always like an artist who can actually take time to improve his or her skills. This one didnt give me the feeling your others did, maybe it was the style of it, or how it all came together. Here is my review.

The graphics were excellent, you are definitely one of the best stopmotion animators on the site, along with know and dustball/gel who so far can do anything they put their minds too. And so far you have impressed me with your really unique claymation and ideas. It was smooth throughout, and you got a distinct type of character down, so when some one sees one of your characters, they will know its yours. The style was just good in this one, i can honestly say this didnt quite live up to my expectations. The idea was alright at first, though out of date a little bit, as halloween already passed. I just didnt like the KKK character, maybe i did find it a bit offensive, but it just didnt really do anything in terms of humour for me. The presentation was like your other ones, but a bit more slow going. The sound was great, i liked the voice acting and how each character sounded different. The expression could use some tweaking here and there however. Nice variety of sound effects as well. The humour was not quite up there with your other submissions i have to say, but keep at it man.

Overall it was a good movie. This just had some things i didnt really like as much as other people, it still was a good job though. I would also like to congradulate you on the Review Crew Pick, somehow with a lower review score you took it from littleFoot :P. Nice job anyways, and i can see why this earned it. Please keep submitting your stuff man!

Great work! Minimal Flaws!!

Awesome work on every aspect in this. There were even some aspects where i was very impressed with at some points in the movie, such as with the visuals. But this was a fantastic intro, to what could be an amazing series if you continue it this way, which all this effort. Im glad it was still noticed by a number of people, even with the incredible submissions lately. And it even managed to win a nice award, congrats on that. Here is my review.

The graphics were definitely awesome, truthfully i would have taken out even more stuff, the emerald part at the very start , was a bad first impression, at least for me. But the drawings of the characters are amongst the best i have seen on the site, and i have seen quite a few sonic flash. The colours, along with the backrounds looked awesome, they almost looked professionall done sometimes. At points in this movie, i was amazed by your animating talent, the animation was really detailed and smooth so use that to your advantage! The style was awesome too, other then a few minor things like not completely original, and sometimes your animating style seemed a bit off. The idea of creating just a cool fast paced intro was cool, certainly entertining at least. It was usually fast paced, and i loved when it was. The sound was awesome, pretty much a perfect song for this movie. It was fast paced, kind of epic, just like the contents of the movie were. In other words it suit your movie perfectly.

Overall this was really a good job on all levels, with little flaws here and there that are easy to overlook thanks to some great visuals. I hope you can make a great series out of this, or at least make more movies of this high level!

Nicely done everyone!

Way to go on this great collaboration. Even during a day with many awesome flash, this one still stood out as being impressive to me. Its good to see a collaboration from artists that im familiar with, such as BOE or Quimera. It was also pretty good on all levels, the movies were varied in terms of their styles and ideas and i love to see that in collaborations. The basic theme was fairly original, so nice job on choosing it too. Here is my review.

The graphics were pretty consistant throughout each movie, this is something you dont see too often in collabs. I liked each and every one of your animating styles, and even the sprites. The drawings were cool, and same with the backrounds. All recreated their world very well. The detail was always great, and the animation was always smooth, what else can i expect from great authors? The style was great too, the idea was only fairly original, collabs with Nes related things have been done before, either way this seemed pretty original unless you really thought about it. Your animating styles did help out here positively. The sound was great too, occasionally some sounds grew a bit repetitive, but usually they were cool and fit their action well too. The quality was nice for the most part as well. The humour came from BOE's entry, it was hilarious man, i love your style of humour!

Overall this was a very good collab, it stood out as being good even on that day with tons of other amazing movies. Keep submitting your movies to NG everyone, your stuff is great. Just for the record i enjoyed BOE's the most. Keep it up!
