Pretty good man.

Pretty good game/tool. I wish there was a bit more complexity to it by the end, but it was good nonetheless. It was good overall, but there were definitely some things you could add in that would make it even better, and they arent very difficult to do. Such as little images to go along with soem insults, or even one or two music tracks. Either way it did its job, and that was to insult. Here is my review.

The graphics were good enough for a tool type game. Even so you could make them slightly better by adding in some different background options or something, just to keep the playability up. But the red background you had was cool, and even the font was well chosen. The style was good, but it almost seems as if you got an idea and went straight to it, rather then making alot of extra things to do. The idea was certainly original at least from what ive seen, and i think almostb everyone who tried this got at least a bit of fun or laughs out of it, i sure did. It basically did its job, nothing more nothing less. There wasnt any sound, you could resubmit a new version with music options or something, sound would spice it up a bit. The humour was great though, and made this tool what it really is. Some of my favourite ones that i got were Skanky Whorebag, Queer Jerkoff, Feeble Minded Dicklips, and Grungy Fuck Up.

Overall this was a good game that only did its job and nothing more. Id like to see a new version with some extra fun stuff put into it. Id also like to see more creative submissions like this from you in the future!

I'm making V2 right now - complete with music, sound effects, better interface... and a large file size :o

Thanks for the in-depth review - much appreciated :D

Nice game!

This is the kind of game i like to play on newgrounds most of the time. Nicely animated, good idea, and simple gameplay that can stay fun for a long time. I dont like to play games on newgrounds that take 10 pages of intructions to play, and even after those pages you dont understand the game. I like games like this, with short simple instructions and you can just get right into the game.
Well here is my review.

The graphics were actually surprisingly good. I wasnt expecting such good graphics from a game with such simple instructions. But they were really great! The drawings were great, i actually kinda liked the Flying Spaghetti Monster, even if he was ugly :P, he was ugly in a good way. The detail in him, and everything else was very nice. The backrounds looked awesome, even if they were simple, the detail was good. Nice smooth, and even funny animation as well. The style was great too, i loved how this game was so easy to get into and just play. It was done in such a way that it can remain addicting for quite some time. I wish there was maybe more levels, but its not a huge deal. The sound was good, i liked the little tune and sound effects, but there wasnt quite enough to the sound to give it an 8.

Overall i loved this game, it was fun to play for a while, and hence doing a game's job. I hope you can make more simple yet great games like this in the near future. I always look for good games man, and im glad i found this one!

Thanks for the long review; I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank both your thumbs for me, too.

Awesome game!

Another awesome Games of Gondor game, and another by Glaiel Gamer as well. Wow. Well anyways Games of Gondor have been amongst the most consistant game makers i have seen on the net. And Glaiel, i wasnt expecting such a great game so soon. It wasnt too long since you made your last was it? Either way i loved this. Here is my review.

This game was quite impressive visually. Its not often you see 3D games on Newgrounds, so obviously this came out very fresh and unique to play. The character/Vehicle design was quite cool. I mean they almost looked real in a way, and i see the effort you put into them. What i really liked is how it all ran together smoothly, and on my computer at least it didnt lag. The style of this game was great, i love the style of graphics you used and the idea of making Frogger into 3D is cool. It was a little tough to get the hang of though because you didnt have the typical arial view of frogger games. But once i got going it was a blast. The sound was good, it added a bit to the final product. But there wasnt a big variety in sound effects or in music.

Overall this was an awesome game, very capable of providing amusment to anyone looking for a good game on newgrounds. Games of Gondor hasnt disssapointed yet. Keep it that way guys!

Thanks. I am pretty fast at making games. Magnetism 2 is next in my que. I'll proibably get that done in less than a month too.

Ooh nice i liked it!

This was a great game, all the elements you would want in a game like this were there, and they often went above my expectations. Theres not much else i cant say here other than it was very well done, and it ran smoothly throughout. Here is my review.

The graphics were great, i was much more than satisfied when i saw them at first. I noticed the colourful numbers when the items were collected and also the detailed futuristic looking backrounds. Its always nice to see effort in every aspect, especially graphics, because in a game like this, graphics arent everything. Great job for graphics. The style is what impressed me the most about this game and for a couple reasons. Perfect type of animation for a game like this. The idea is cool, though you control a ball it is extremely original. Collect and/or destroy everything possible in the area using a ball able the charge up power. See, that has never been done well before. I was very pleased with the sound, i loved all the clear, magical sound effects of when you collected an item or even more so a bunch of items at once.

Overall this was indeed a great game and i hope my review explained why. I cant wait for another one of your games, it is almost sure to be good! 4/5

GameBalance responds:

Thanks a lot!

Wow, awesome fun!

This was really a great game. You did a great job of making it fun and addicting for a while. I played the main game once or twice and the Newgrounds mode a few times. I got all 60 correct, and then got a 50 point bonus but my score never went to high scores.
:( well a great game anyways, heres my review.

The graphics were great throughout. While there wasnt many "drawings" for characters they were good. All the menus and buttons looked smooth and packed with effort. I love the shiny effect you gave to them. When there was animation, it flowed smoothly. The style of this game was perfect. I mean this is the best, and most addicting trivia game on NG. All the modes, and different questions just kept it entertaining. My favourite was obviously the NG mode, i found that one was put together very well. The sound was great and did its job. Every piece of sound whether it be music, or simply sound effects, all was effectively used to give the game a better feeling. There was even some humour in this!

Overall a great trivia game, and i never though i would so much about anything in one game here on NG, anyways keep up the great work! 4/5

Smoking-Chimney responds:

This is a great review! Thanks a great lot! I'm really glad you appreciate it, and I'll fix the NG mode scores for you!

A solid game!

This was a fun game, it did have its problems here and there however. But the most important thing about a game is whether it is amusing or not, and this was definitely amusing. Well heres my final review of the night.

The graphics were good, i mean they did the job but even on high quality they seemed a bit rough. Maybe its just my computer but thats what happened. I was most impressed with the environments, they were well drawn and fairly detailed. the style of this game is good, its always fun to play a game that seems like it has more than one game in it. There are so many different gaming elements in this, it feels as though im playing different games constantly. For example, timing jumps sliding down the hill with the rock, then fighting against the enemies. The sound was good, but perhaps it sounded a little "glitchy" at times. It could be smoothe in other words.

Overall this was a pretty good game, it ran fine on my computer, especially the double jump, the other computers probably arent very good. So trey to make the game playable for more PCs! 4/5

The-Mercenary responds:

I actually did try to make it playable for more pc's, the message at the begging says if its too slow switch to low detail from the pause menu. It doesnt improve performance too much, but it can help out a little.

Good!

This was good. I think there is some room for improvement however. Its a fun simple game, but some elements of your design made it quite challenging at times. I will try to make everything clear in my review.

The graphics were good, i liked the main character and i liked the enemies, though there should be some different looking enemies too. The hats were great, and a big reason why i enjoyed the main character's appearance so much. The backround definitely did the job. The style of this game was good, but again i see some possilbe easy improvements. The animating style was great, but you should have showed it off more by making different kinds of enemies. he idea for the game was cool, but an adventure game with this kind layout would be fantastic. Perhaps the game could have been a little more complex in the sense that there could be a few different movies and platforms to jump on. The sound was good, it seems you put some effort into it and effort usually goes a long way. Really good sound effects!

Overall this was a great game, with some things i could have enjoyed me if they were done in a different way. Anyways make more games soon! 4/5

molkman responds:

it should've been a simple game for wasting time ^^

Very good game!

Great job on this game! All the elements needed for a great, amusing game were intact. I cant complain about anything in this, meaning everything was well done. Well heres my review.

Visually this game was great, i liked how you did everything. The colours really made it seem like a clear night. And for a night sky, it looked pretty real. The cannon looked good, i found myself looking at it for soem reason :P. The animation is what really impressed me about the graphics, the perspective on things was superb, and when the clouds came into view, it looked great! The style of this game was awesome. I loved your animating style first of all. But the idea was clever, original and well executed. Blasting a rubber duck on to various clouds with a cannon must be original right? The sound was great, though it was really only that song. The song was effectively used as it created the mood i think you were trying to get.

Overall this was an awesome game, not quite as simple as ThrowIt but just as addicting. Thanks for the amusement and i hope you can make more in the future! 4/5

DBarbarian responds:

Thanks for your vote and thank you for the indepth review =)

Without a doubt improved!

Great job on improving this so quickly, i mean you just submitted the demo and version 1 yesterday.

I liked all the new graphic settings, they really added an bigger addicting component. I liked the Newgrounds one because i got my highest score with it. Also i liked the Glaiel one because all those G's looked aweseom together. The style was also improved over the last one, with new settings came more addicting gameplay. The sound was certainly improved, you didnt have to turn on the sound after each try this time, there were a few songs too, so it was hard to get bored of the music.

Well thats all i haveto say, id say this ranks up there it games like kitten cannon in terms of simple, yet addicting. Please keep the great games coming.

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

yay.

A solid game indeed.

This was a good game for sure. There were a few different modes, and everything did really seem improved over the last one.

The graphics were good, Lara was drawn and animated fairly well. The enemies were good for the most part, but when you began animating with them, they seemed stiff, and unlife like. The backrounds were real pictures i think, but you made them work. Your style was great, this is a pretty unique game. There were a couple different modes you could do. But each one didnt offer a totally different experience. The sound was good though there wasnt to much to it. The bullets sounded nice and the music was a very good edition.

Overall it was a good game with a few obvious areas for improvement. Try to make different modes that will offer a different experience in future games!

ChromeShark responds:

Thanks, great review.

I totally agree that some of the enemies were a bit stiff, something I would have liked to work on more but would have taken an extremely large amount of time. The backgrounds were real, I was worried that people would think I took the easy way out, but I'm glad you think I made them work. I agree that variation is extremely improtant, I'll try and increase it in future games. Thanks for the review.

I havent been on NG in so long, this redesign might bring me back!
