Very Clever.

What can I say that was awesome. Very innovative, and it must have been a bit of a pain to program something thing into each level. Though I did have fun playing through the game I did notice that the last few stages were almost repetitions of previous ones. That is my only criticism in an otherwise amazing game.

Surprisingly good.

As soon as i saw the menus i was pleasantly surprised with the colour and how everything just looked so good in pixels. First time through i didnt exactly know what to expect, for example i didnt know there was going to be mass destruction following me. By the second time i read all the controls and it became that much better.

Not bad at all!

So it was a fun game, simple, easy to get into but the first few levels are pretty easy
The animation and the graphics in general were good, but nothing too special. It was also pretty original. But overall something was just missing. It really wasnt very exciting but wus fun anyway.

Great way to finish off the case!

This final part of the case was great. Just like in the real game, all the unanswered questions were summed up and solved by Phoenix Wright. Once again, this part stayed true to the series of games, this time with a really exciting ending. In this case, the people unfamiliar with the series experienced how Phoenix will at some point be losing the case and must come back against the odds to achieve a Not guilty verdict for his client. In the 2 games so far, there were also heated courtroom discussions/battles between Phoenix and the opposing prosecutor and these final 3 parts did this nicely. Also the last 3 parts were a little bit longer and the actual gameplay kicked in.

Despite all the good things I mentioned, I do have a few general critiques for all or most parts. The English here and there is a little off as I have mentioned before, but considering how fun the rest of the game was, this is easily excusable. It was a little bit awkward playing all the parts separately so in future movies it would be nice if you could manage to lower the filesize to make maybe a total of 3 parts. And in 4th part I noticed that during the Cross-Examination if you clicked forward then back again, the music would overlap and have 2 tracks of the same thing playing at once. Lastly, you could skip a lot of the challenges just by pressing Next constantly.

Overall this was a fun set of 6 games, with little to be dissapointed about. The few things that I myself would change are easily overlooked because this stays so true to the series, the courtroom drama, great dialogue, and familiar sounds and visuals, that the small mistakes do not really matter. Keep up the good work in all future submissions, looking forward to your next!

Thank you :)

I already have some ideas to make a better one next time.

Not the best part so far, but still good.

This part seemed like more of a filler-episode than anything else, but at least a good one. The dialogue was just as interesting as in the previous parts, though like I said last time, the grammar is a little bit off. This part also did set up the actual case nicely.

The visuals were just like the other parts, with the returning characters and the good menu screens. I did notice this time around how plain the court record is with just a black screen as its background. It would be nice to see something else inside of it. The sound was good, once again you seemed to choose some of the more memorable songs from the game.

Overall, another fun part. I am really excited to see how the other parts turn out. Nice job.

ps: you're really inspiring me to make another one in another form :P

Pretty fun, but overall something was missing.

Its a shame that this was submitted today because amidst all the other submissions, one is easy to overlook and possibly to forget about. In other words, it's a shame this didn't get the kind of attention it deserves.

This was an all-around good game that sadly, I think is directed more to kids than anyone else. From a graphical standpoint, this game was pretty impressive. The drawings of both the characters and the backgrounds were unique, colourful and looked really clean because of the black outlines. The sound was good as well, but it seemed incomplete because of the lack of music playing during the levels. The sound effects seemed to suit everything nicely though. The gameplay was decent but can get boring pretty quickly if you just want to play a quick game. The first level, for example, is just like any other platforming game on the site, and its a little bit frustrating not being able to kill the enemies. But for someone who has played fewer platformers or wants to get into the game will certainly get something out of this.

Better! The story is really coming along!

This part was certainly better than the last part, and it was longer as well. The storyline really started to come together in this part and it introduced some of the characters and just like the game, another possible suspect.

This second part also stays true to the series. This was easily seen with Detective Gumshoe and the fact that he always says "pal" in the game. The court record is starting to fill up as well, with items I certainly remember from the game, but its interesting how you make each one different than in the game by writing something different about it. The visuals and the sound were just the same as in the last part, which is a good thing. The one critism I have for this part is some of the english is a little off such as Evidences which shouldn't have an "s". If you fixed some of the spelling errors it would ultimately better the final product.

Overall this was a better Part 2 and I'm still really looking forward to playing the next 4 parts!!

Thanks again for your review.

I'm very sorry for the spelling errors... I'm good in english but not totally awesome either. lol (I'm a french-canadian, so I talk a rude french if you can say it like this lol).

Anyway your review still is great and makes me wanna do another game but not now. :P

Good start.

There are many parodies of this series, most of which go by some variation of the name "Phoenix Wrong". So in other words, it is very nice to see something that stays more true to the actual series, even if many of these parodies are hilarious.

This is the first Phoenix Wright game I have seen on the site so far, and it seems like it will become an interesting case before it's done. There wasn't a whole lot to the visuals other then a couple menu screens and the court record, everything else was the actual characters. (which in a game like this is a perfectly logical thing to do). Sometimes when the characters talked ,however, other parts of them would move along with the mouth such as the defendant's left side one time. The sound is good, and again all the music is from the game, but you seem to have chosen some of the better music they use so nice job on that.

Even though there wasn't a whole lot to this first part, I expect the whole thing will really come together by the end.

XBatsuX responds:

Thanks for you review. It's real that some Phoenix Wrongs are cool and funny.

For the sprite things that move when they talk, I had some problems to adjust them right. So that's why.
I've tried my possible to put them on on one but did that in the end.
Lol, but by that way you know they are talking :P

I have an idea for a next project... But not too soon (sorry :S) It'll be the same way but I'll try to make them in flash (characters and scene and all) with a different story.

Thanks again for your review, it warmed my heart :)

Arguably the best one yet!

This whole series of games has been impressive and addicting since the very first one, and going through them all it is easy to see how you have improved with the creativity of the levels, the extra content (such as achievements) and even the visuals. This one was addicting like the others and I loved some of the challenges such as the wind or the rock power up. All of these power ups, maybe arent "powerups" at all but another thing to overcome to beat each level. These powerups were also really cleverly used to make each level unique and challenging in its own right. There were some longer maze-levels as well, offering up a different style of level as well as shortcuts. The achievement system is a great addition because it makes you want to play the game even more trying to get all of them. And on top of all this, there was the simple yet great sound aspect to back everything up.

Overall this was an awesome game, with very little wrong to say about it. Keep up the great work!

Simple and fun!

This game was just as I said, simple and fun. The idea of it was as well, but you executed it in a way that made it entertaining and more importantly addicting. The addition of the scoring system and the combos really helped out here. The visuals were pleasant, easy to look at and did their job in the game quite nicely. The gameplay itself was just plain fun and really easy to get into. And when you mess up 3 times and have to restart, you dont get frustrated that you have to begin the tower all over again.

Basically this was an amusing game, that was well done on all levels, I loved the simplicity of it all and I have no real critiques about this. Anyways nicely done!

I havent been on NG in so long, this redesign might bring me back!
