Very good game!

Great job on this game! All the elements needed for a great, amusing game were intact. I cant complain about anything in this, meaning everything was well done. Well heres my review.

Visually this game was great, i liked how you did everything. The colours really made it seem like a clear night. And for a night sky, it looked pretty real. The cannon looked good, i found myself looking at it for soem reason :P. The animation is what really impressed me about the graphics, the perspective on things was superb, and when the clouds came into view, it looked great! The style of this game was awesome. I loved your animating style first of all. But the idea was clever, original and well executed. Blasting a rubber duck on to various clouds with a cannon must be original right? The sound was great, though it was really only that song. The song was effectively used as it created the mood i think you were trying to get.

Overall this was an awesome game, not quite as simple as ThrowIt but just as addicting. Thanks for the amusement and i hope you can make more in the future! 4/5

Thanks for your vote and thank you for the indepth review =)

Without a doubt improved!

Great job on improving this so quickly, i mean you just submitted the demo and version 1 yesterday.

I liked all the new graphic settings, they really added an bigger addicting component. I liked the Newgrounds one because i got my highest score with it. Also i liked the Glaiel one because all those G's looked aweseom together. The style was also improved over the last one, with new settings came more addicting gameplay. The sound was certainly improved, you didnt have to turn on the sound after each try this time, there were a few songs too, so it was hard to get bored of the music.

Well thats all i haveto say, id say this ranks up there it games like kitten cannon in terms of simple, yet addicting. Please keep the great games coming.

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

yay.

Ha, addicting indeed.

Simplicity is often the key my friend, and it definitely was in this. You kept it simple, and addicting with the different settings, but simple gameplay.

The graphics didnt need to be any better than they were. They did the job in other words. I gave you more points because there were different things you could do (ie smilies, bombs, atoms). This really helped with the addicting elements as well, and the biggest reasonm why i gave you high style points. The game is simple, yet it was fun and still quite challenging. The sound was not necessary but it did provide some more amusement. It was a hastle turning it on after every try to i just ingored it. Try to fix that for future games.

Well anyways i had fun, i wont tell anyone my best score cuz it sucks lol. Keep the addicting gameas coming.

Great game! I loved it!

This was a sweet game man. So refined and well done in every aspect. Very well made! I dont know what else to say. Well everyone could tell this was going to be an awesome game based on the demo.

The graphics were awesome, and noticably some of the best graphics on a game that NG has to offer. The artwork was superb. The drawings were awesome and really detailed. The backrounds were detailed just as the character drawings were. The robots looked awesome! The animation was also very well done. Even in the heat of battle it was easy to tell what was going on. Even the text boxes looked great. The style in this game was awesome, and not just because of the animating style. The idea for the game is not the most original(beat em up side scroller) but you do something cool to it that makes it seem original as it is being played. The sound was also really well done, all the sound effects and music really went together well. Maybe a couple of more memorable sounds would help the final outcome of sound. Just a suggestion. good amount of violence and great interactivity.

Overall this was a very well made game. it may have one or two minor flaws, but they are easy to ingnore! Anyways it deserves its high score. Make more! 5/5

wow sweet, and so cool.

Great job everyone of you who submitted a game into this Gaming collab. The whole thing is original, many great collabs have entered the portal recently, but they were all movies. This was also original becuase you usedonly Green and Black. I will rate each game individualy.

Glaiel Gamer- You made a tough and quick puzzle game. It was great, the graphics were all nice, it was a little odd getting the hang of, but once it gets going its awesome.

The Mercenary- This is probably my favourite out of the 5 games. It was so amusing to just drive around in that little 3D world. The crash idea was very good, and so was the takedowns. Like Burnout 3 :). The graphics were rough on occasion however.

Smoking Chimney- You might have had the best animated game, but the game itself wasnt as amusing as it could have been. It was nice hearing the music, but i just found it too hard. The drawings of the robots were well done.

reedo11- Your entry was simple and addicting. The score gave it that addicting element. Perhaps it could have been better drawn overall but what you had did the job.

ewater-another simple yet addicting type of game, well made for the most part, but graphics stood out as being rough. A classic sidescrolling space shooter!

Overall this was an awesome final, the graphics in somedidnt really have a negative effect on the overall product. Anyways i hope you guys can make more in the future! 4/5

A solid game indeed.

This was a good game for sure. There were a few different modes, and everything did really seem improved over the last one.

The graphics were good, Lara was drawn and animated fairly well. The enemies were good for the most part, but when you began animating with them, they seemed stiff, and unlife like. The backrounds were real pictures i think, but you made them work. Your style was great, this is a pretty unique game. There were a couple different modes you could do. But each one didnt offer a totally different experience. The sound was good though there wasnt to much to it. The bullets sounded nice and the music was a very good edition.

Overall it was a good game with a few obvious areas for improvement. Try to make different modes that will offer a different experience in future games!

ChromeShark responds:

Thanks, great review.

I totally agree that some of the enemies were a bit stiff, something I would have liked to work on more but would have taken an extremely large amount of time. The backgrounds were real, I was worried that people would think I took the easy way out, but I'm glad you think I made them work. I agree that variation is extremely improtant, I'll try and increase it in future games. Thanks for the review.

Too fun man!

I actually played this a long time ago,but i still remember all the good times i had playing it.

The graphics while there wasnt much were awesome. It lagged of course when i threw a million rockets into the fray but it was hilarious. Anyways everything looked good. Your style was perfec, i mean its such an original game, i cant not give it a high score. It was done so well too, there were tons of ideas and options to do. Sound was great, that explosion sound never got old. Napoleans voice is always funny and you actually incorporated that in this game. There was a lot of violence and obviously plenty of interacivity, as said in the name. There was also a lot of humour in this.

Overall a great game, i just loved it man! I hope you can makemore like this soon! 5/5

Fun to play indeed.

Great game! I can see effort was put into this, and if not most aspects had effort. It was always fluent to play, never any bugs that i found or anything else to stop fun and fluent gameplay.

The graphics more than did the job in this case. Everything seemed to fit in together very well, i mean it all seemed "caveman" like. The detail in everything was great and it shows you put a lot of effort into it. I liked the way the blocks looked! Your style was great, a simple well made game with some pleasant graphics. Really everything fit in together so well. Theres not much else i could say about style, that one sentence really summarized it all. The sound is the only thing that i think needs a little improvement in this game. In general it was very good, but i felt there needed to be more. The music and sound effects did the job without a doubt and also the audio quality seemed nice.

Overall a very well made game, it provides enough amusement for anyone to like. It deserves its great score, continue making such great games!4/5

This had almost nothing!

And yet.. it was simply awesome, i dont know how you did it. This is amazing how you made such a high scoring game in 6.5 kb only! This was soo simple, there was no violence, almost no graphics, humour or no sound at all. Yet ...it was fun.

The graphics that you did have weer good and simple, grass looked good, and it all just looked pleasant to me. Your style was very good, but i have seen two other games like this before. This one is different becasue you throw the ball rather than kick it or shoot it. Good interacivity, but you were watching the ball do its thing half the time but meh.

Overall a great job, and such a simple game, but just great! I enjoyed this and i swear i could play it for an hour. Keep it up! 4/5

Very solid game! A blast to play!

This was a very good game, it was so much fun to play. What made this game what it is, is the 3 different games you could play within the one. Thats such a cool idea, and each one was equally fun.

The graphics were great, and slightly different in each. You got sprites down for sure, as this is some of the better animation of that type. I loved the whole colourful style, it made me love his game even further. Your style was awesome! I loved the idea of having 3 different games, all having Mario in them. This way everyone played this game longer and it did indeed make it more fun. Great animating style, as i said youre great with sprites. The sound was great, but the sound in the Super Mario World game impressed me the most. It sounded exactly like the real mario games. It was really cool lol. There was some violence, but you know just the typical game violence. Great interacivity...well it was a game after all.

Overall a great game, it was very fun and well put together. I hope you can make more games like this in the near future, Keep at it man! 4/5
