Very nice, just as good as the first!

This was a really cool movie i must admit, i was surprised to see it drop in score so much since yesterday, but that didnt change what i thought about it. It was awesome in each aspect, this shows you care about how well your movies are done, you put effort into each aspect, and even some extras like storyline and feeling. This also reminded me of a great game i started playing today, Indigo Prophecy. Anyways here is my review.

The graphics were awesome, they were impressive right from the start. I will say the one thing that brought it down right away and its the animation. It simply wasnt fluent enough for a 10, and many times i found it too slow. But other than that they were just awesome. The drawings were very detailed, especially in the people drawings, they have great facial features and the colours were also very good. Great backrounds as well! The style was was aweosme, the story seemed well thought through and fairly complex. The presentation was good sometimes, kind of eerie at times. Sorry to say that at other times it was a bit too slow, but that was just caused by the slow animation i think. The sound was also really nicely done other than the fact that the quality wasnt the greatest. The voice acting was excellent for the most part, so nice job overall on the sound.

Overall this was a good movie, very long, well presented and just a good choice if youre looking for a good movie. I hope the next episode will be as good as this or even better!

Very good, Burnta Face man has yet to dissapoint!

Another great flash David, you are certainly one of the more consistant authors on the site, in terms of many things such as, the originality of all your movies, the unique style and most importantly how each of your submissions are great! Its good too see some of your characters again, like Burnt Face man or Salad Fingers, you have some of the most memorable characters around. Here is my review.

The graphics are nothing less, but nothing more than id expect from you. They were great of course, they always are with you mostly because of your incredibly unique style and character design. The colours are done very well, not just in this series either, in salad fingers they are chosen to be eerie, this is more hero-like and pleasant. And the animation is funny in a good way, i just liked the graphics overall. The style of this movie was awesome, just as id expect from a Burnt Face Man movie. Cool animating style, a really random, yet creative and well thought out storyline. The length was also really good in this one, definitely your longest one yet! The sound was awesome too , i loved the voice acting and i always have in this series. The expressions are often comical! The humour was very nice in this too, i particularily loved the "sonic boom" part!

Overall this was another Burnt Face Man episode and i sure hope this isnt the last one to come out in the series. I look forward to another submissions by you David firth!

Great job!

Sprites are overall getting better, less bad ones are coming in, and more good ones in general. I am glad to see this happening, as i always look for new types of animation. Well this movie would be a good example of a sprite movie done well in every aspect. Some elements were rough in a select few places but those didnt mjatter too much for the final product. Here is my review.

The graphics were awesome and in my opinion they were the most impressive things about this movie. The sprite characters were all pretty cool, and i loved the old school feel to it all. Even if they were 8 bit sprites, everything looked nicely thoughout and nicely animated with as well. I liked all your personal effects too, such as the blood and when he spat on dracula! The style was great too, the length was totally satisfying, i dont see enough of that these days. The idea was alright, perhaps a little frantic in terms of sticking to a solid storyline. I wasnt a huge fan of the style of humour, it kind of seemed to be made up different styles that i have heard a lot of before. The sound was great too, the voice acting was good and i really enjoyed the sound effects too. As a whole however all the sounds combined with the music and voice acting seemed a little off.

Overall tihs was a great movie, and i can say i am looking forward to another episode. I hope this series continues to get better and better! Keep it up!

RogerGargantua responds:

wow, big review, thanks! I appreciate that you review all aspects of the movie. This movie has only 2 parts. Part 2 ( which will be the end of this series ) will be released next week, cuz i already finished it along with part 1 :)

So Damn Good!

This was really awesome, i seriously didnt know what to expect at first for a few reasons. I have not seen the other episodes in the series, and this type of movie, with Final Fantasy characters fighting like this has been done many times. But to my surprise this was really original for a number of reasons. The fighting system wasnt quite the same as the others, and there was more than the fight going on off to the side. Either way this came out as a fresh, innovative movie that many people are loving, and i can truely see why. I wouldnt be surprised if this becomes number1 for a while later on! Here is my review.

The graphics were simply amazing. I noticed that they were really good right when it started, but i didnt know that they would get even better as the movie continued. The drawings of the characters were the main attraction in terms of graphics, they were just superb. The detail was fantastic, the colours and even the style to them was all just awesome. It shows lots of effort was put into even the drawings and the animation of the characters. The colours overall were nicely done, they fit in with each other very nicely, and they didnt stand out, which is indeed a good thing. The backrounds were very good, but some things in them could have been a bit more detailed to go along more smoothly with the character drawings, but in general i was pleased with them. The animation was always great too, often it was quite funny as well. It was also very easy to tell what was going on for the whole movie! The style was awesome too, again i think it deserves a 10. The main factor here is the fact that you took two similar elements, final fantasy and battles, and you created something totally original with them surprisingly. The basic idea was great, pretty creative, and i loved the presentation. It could be the random yet great style of humour that i loved about the presentation, or it could be a combination of that and many other things. Your animating style in this movie was near flawless, its surely one of the better ones in the past few months. The sound was awesome as well, the sound effects were great, but i have heard those before, perhaps try to find a different set of sounds for your next movie, if not these would do just fine anyways. I loved the music and the use of it. It was fast paced when the fights got intense, and a little calmer when they should be too. Just a very nice job!

Overall this was awesome movie, with lots to offer to any Final Fantasy fan, or to anyone, like myself, who enjoy final fantasy movies on NG. I have learned about FF without ever palying one of the games thanks to awesome movies like this. I cant wait for another one of your submissions!

Lol, nicely done.

I think this is the first submission with that kind of animation that ive actually enjoyed. The crude animation style in this went almost perfectly with the song. This was also a good way to listen to a remake of a great song while wasting a few minutes away. Just fun all the way! Here is my review.

The graphics were good, for what they were. This is some of the better animation using real pictures and the whole moving the mouth up and down idea. It still doesnt mean that i consider it great in this case. Its just i like how it actually worked with the rest of the movie pretty well. The style of this movie was great, mostly for being original in terms of animation. The idea is simple, but still very good. The presentation could have been a tad better, maybe you could have had some funnier pictures on occasion. The sound was awesome, i loved the song and i like the real version of the song as well. Not only that, but as i said it was fun watching the pictures sing the song. The sync was done surprisingly well.

Overall this was a funny movie to waste a bit of time on, i liked it and it seems many other people did as well. I dont know how long this kind of animation will be tolerated, but for this movie's sake i hope it is a very long time!

CapnBob responds:

I keep hearing complaints about the lip syncing which, while admittedly crappy, is the most efficient form of animating pre-existing photographs and was a standard of Terry Gilliam's work on Monty Python for years. Why are there never any suggestions for alternative methods? It's difficult to take the complaints serious if nobody seems to have a better idea.

LOL very funny, and just nicely done!

Very nice, i can see why this has the number one spot for the time being, its definitely worthy of it too! I was seriously not expecting this much success when i saw a bit of it when it was first under judgement. But the graphics grew pretty quickly on me, and i just enjoyed them by the end. Well overall it didnt really have a point, but since its so heavily humour based, i think that is easy to excuse. Here is my review.

The graphics were awesome, i wasnt a fan of the style at first but it soon grew on me. The drawings were pretty good, for reasons that i usually dont find drawings to be good for. They were pretty simple, yet the backrounds seemed to have more detail. Either way, what ever you did with them was pretty good. The colours were very bright, yet very pleasant to look at. The animation wasnt awesome, but it sure had points of humour. The style was awesome, not just becauseof your animating style either! The idea was funny, but and "idea" in general was a bit vague at times. Like when they met the stone god there, the plot just dissapeared, but maybe it was for the best because it allowed quite a bit of humour. The sound was also pretty good, maybe a few more sound effects could prove useful but the voice acting almost made up for it all. I loved all the voices, nice expressions and characterization throughout.

Overall this was a very funn movie, accompanied by some cool visuals and great voice acting. I hope the next episode comes out soon, as i loved this one. Either way keep up the great work!

I think this is one of Life.1's best submissions!

It is very difficult to judge what was your best submission, as you guys have made a ton of awesome ones, and after looking through your submissions it shouldnt be a wonder why you guys are so high in my favourite authors list. With each of your submissions, i have come to expect high quality overall, but more specifically, the graphics, awesome style and story, near flawless voice acting, and somtimes some violence. What i didnt expect to see in this one was humour combined will all that stuff. I must say i was truely impressed, with the added humour but everything else as well. Here is my review.

The graphics were definitely nothing less than i expected, if anything they were much more than i wasnt actually expecting. The great thing is while they were improved overall from your last submissions from what i remember, they had the "Lifepoint 1" style to them still. In terms of the character drawings they were fantastic, just as they always are. Both of them in this were well developped, in both physical characteristacs as well as personality and backround. All the other drawings were done very nicely too, they were very nicely detailed, and often very nicely coloured as well. The animation was very good too, it was always smooth and it never dissapointed me at least. Im still a fan of your artwork, i mean you know when something is animated by you guys right away. Keep up these improvements!

The style certainly deserves a 10 as well, i mean all of your submissions within the last year or so really do. This is thanks to your excellent story telling and creation. With each of your submissions you can expect a fantastic story with awesome presentation and development. This one was surely no different. I like the fact that again with each submission the story varies a quite a bit. But your animating style is consistantly there as well, and it appeared to be a little better than what i remember. I hope your future movies will continue this way.

The sound was simply perfect. From the sound effects to the voice acting all truely amazed me. Firstly the sound effects were awesome, they were pretty numerous and most of the time they seemed accurate according to what they were playing with. They were also very well in sync. The music was awesome, its really cool how you compose all of your music, its amazing how your music compositions always work perfectly with the movie. They fit in and accentuate the mood very well. But what i like most about the sound and perhaps the whole submission in some cases, is the voice acting. You guys probably have some of the best voice actors on the site. The narrator, Agawa(loved his voice :P) and the girl as well, all of them simply blew me away.

I wasnt realyl expecting anty humour in this due to the seriousness of the introduction. But i got some, boy do i love Agawa Kazahana, i hope he ends up with the money!

Overall this was as close to perfect as ive seen a submission come in the past month. It is deserving of a 10 because nothing can be perfect can it? Well i hope you guys submit more animations concerning the Kazahana family very soon. And i cant wait until the next XIN session! This did put Life.1 higher in my favorites and this movie is there as well. Keep it up guys!!

This was my favourite one so far.

Way to go to everyone who had a part in making this. It was well done in basically everyway i can think of. I found this fun to watch, i mean seeing all the different NG characters get owned, i realize this is all just for fun so it isnt a big deal, because i myself like a whole lot of the characters that got owned, excluding Barney. The whole idea is pretty interesting in a way, funny in another, and in my opinion its awesome. Here is my review.

The graphics were great overall in my opinion. I liked your own drawings first of all. Overall they were just well done and they were fairly unique. The detail was sufficient and the same goes for the colours and the actual animation. I also liked the fact that you got the real animation or what appeared to be the real animation from things like Alien Hominid and Dad N' Me. Cool additions! The style was possibly the best thing about this movie. The idea, as i mentioned earlier, is pretty good. I also really enjoyed the presentation, many Ng fads got owned by a bunch of cool new characters. The one thing i find kind of odd is that this "All NG fads must die" is becoming a fad it self, so it is a bit ironic. The sound was great too, the song was made by Fred Durst...but it did fit the flash nicely. The sounds were also nicely done. The violence was great as well. The humour..an 8 from me, because straberry died to many times.

Overall this was a great movie, even to people who are huge fans of the clocks, and Alien Hominid. Well i hope to see #4 pretty soon. Keep it up guys!

MACception responds:

Awesome man. In response to the stuff looking exactly like Dad n Me, and Alien Homid, they weren't stolen, they were traced. Which is a more legal way to do things ;-) Thanks for the long-ass review, it's hard to respond to the big ones because you feel obligated to write a long response. But, i'll also say...FRED DURST ROCKS!!! :-D I love his stuff, but it seems many dont. Oh well, i'll keep on keepin' on.

Thanks bro.

Just what i want..

This is all i really need in a space jerks episode, aslong as it stays true to the series name, its good in my books. And this episode did just that. I will admit its a bit short, and the graphics arent anything to be amazed by, but i have really grown to love this series. Its just the whole thing is well... kind of fun i guess.

The graphics are just as good as they were in all the episodes i can remember. Improve on them when you can but for now they definitely do the job. I think itll be really cool to see a new series by you with completely redone graphics after this one is finished!
The style is just what i like to see as well, however this one was a bit short for my liking. I think you should try and make each episode a little longer, but what ever you decide to do is cool. The sound was great, i still like the voice acting, music (especially the theme song) and the sound effects. The violence in this one was higher than you usually see!

Overall this was still a great Space Jerks Episode despite being kind of short. Well i still am very much looking forward to episode 8. I hope to see it soon!

Wow, very cool!

This is definitely one of the most original submissions i have seen for quite some time now. The only thing that i think of which is related to this is "musicals" in general. Not only was it intensely original but it was simply done very well in every aspect. Its a bit of a shame we dont get more submissions with this type of originality to NG. I wonder how you came up with it, how you planned out each scene, and how you finally put it all together. No matter what i loved it! Heres my review.

The graphics were awesome, they were very cool at the start and they never declined after that. The colours, right off the bat, were vibrant and bright, the drawings were refined, cartoony in a good way and lastly they had a really cool style to them. Even the graphics were original for many reasons. The detail could be a bit better, like in the main character, the cars and other stuff like that in the backrounds. You made everything work together pretty nicely. The style was certainly perfect. Your animating style was one of the things that distinguished this from many other movies. The idea was awesome, it is way beyond me how you actually came up with it, and how you wanted to put it together, as sometimes the scenes were pretty complicated. You pulled off each scene almost flawlessly. The sound was awesome as well. That song is one that i think no one could hate, and what a choice this was to do a musical flash to. I liked how the main puppet was going along with the music.

Overall this movie deserves a 10 for sure, this is one of those movies you just cant miss. Please make more movies this good, perhaps another musical even. Keep up the great work!
